The Music Imagine if you will, Tracy Chapman meets Carole King meets Jesus Culture with a soulful, folksy

twistwell, then you may be able to picture the worship music of Mia Koehne.

The driving force behind Mia's music, whether original or covers, is her passion to worship the

God who saves. It is that constant focus on the Savior and His redemptive call along with the

powerful lyrics and her deep melodic vocals that will draw you into the presence of Jesus

Christ and usher you into the throne room of God.

Coming from brokenness and shame, Mia's life is a compelling story of sin, surrender,

sanctification and song. She rejoices in the restoration and identification that she has been

given. Inspired to share this message of hope with others, she boldly proclaims the Gospel

message and the sure hope of forgiveness and healing through Jesus Christ.

The release of her first Major Label album "Already in Progress" came out nationally in June

2011, followed by the release of "Shelter in the Wind" in 2013 and the album "His" in June of

2014.

Since then, she has opened for and sung alongside Dove award winner Chris August and

acclaimed recording artist Phil Wickham during his 2012 "Singalong Tour." Adding to her list, Mia

has also done concerts with Phillips Craig and Dean, Casting Crowns, Mark Schultz, Third

Day, JJ Heller, Matthew West, Lindsay McCaul, Jonny Diaz, Aaron Shust, Steven Curtis

Chapman, Moriah Peters, Kerrie Roberts, The Rhett Walker Band, Jason Gray, Francesca

Battistelli, Todd Agnew, Jimmy Needham and many more.

She was a part of the "WFLR Family Life Radio Night of Worship" and also had the honor of

sharing the stage with Country singer and legend, Jessi Colter Jennings, the lovely wife of

Waylon Jennings.

Most recently, She has been added to the touring team of the ASPIRE Women’s Conferences

along with Hollywood comedian and author of the devotional book to the movie “Mom’s Night Out”

Kerri Pomarolli, and best-selling author and speaker Shaunti Feldhahn and Sheri Rose Shepherd.

Spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."

This verse has always spoken deeply to Mia's heart, not just as a worshipper, but as that

women at the well, a women who is sitting next to the Living water and desires to drink deeply.

Mia loves to share and loves to testify....if you have ever heard her sing, you may have noticed

that sharing her heart in-between songs is a great joy and a natural part of what she does. For

Mia, there is no song without a story and every great story needs a song.

Telling the miracle story of redemption in her life is not only a joy, but as she sees it, her

Her life is truly a compelling story of sin, surrender, sanctification and song. She will share with

your group the story of how God took her from living under the lie that she was unloved, what

that road looked like and what it cost her, to a place of living in the grace and mercy of Christ

and what life looks like now.

Excerpts from her testimony: "I was the master of wearing masks, of putting on a good front

and making everyone think my life was just fine... I had lived my entire life feeling like I was

never good enough, like I never measured up. I always believed that I was worthless and

undeserving of anything good and ultimately, I believed I was unloved and unlovable."

Mia's heart is to share the truth that our identity is in Christ and Christ alone, for all people to

know that they are loved, redeemed, forgiven children of God through the sacrifice of Christ and

to remind people of the hope that we have through faith in Christ Jesus. She prays that people

would come to know and believe that nothing can separate them from the love of God in Christ

Jesus.

Mia Koehne June 2014~ Release of Mia Koehne and the Tree Hill Collective Project - "His"

"His" with the Tree Hill Collective released nationally June 24th of 2014.

His begins with Mia's version of her song You Are Not Alone, featured in the 2013 movie Home

Run, which tells the story of grace that we all need through our loneliest times. 17 year old

Adina Mroz makes her writing debut on Gladly Adore You. I Was Made to Worship lays down

our ultimate purpose as worshipers of God, and Holland Davis' anthem Offering of Praise

declares what our lives should be as His followers. Great is Your Renown offers a soaring

declaration of God's goodness and what He promises for His kingdom.

March 2013~ "Shelter In The Wind" with the Tree Hill Collective released nationally

March 5th of 2013.

Shelter takes the listener on a special journey, beginning with our trials and God's promise of

comfort in Blessed Be Your Name and I Choose to Praise You, and ending up in the presence of

our heavenly father with O Lord You're Beautiful. In between, we are introduced to new songs

drawn from biblical passages in Isaiah, Romans, 1st Peter and Revelation, including the title

track, a beautiful piano-driven ballad with a haunting melody that Mia delivers to perfection.

Throughout, Mia leads us in a journey closer into Gods presence, where we feel His comfort,

peace, and the strength of His promises.
