Scope of Work:
The subsea surveys shall consist of visual inspections (VI) and cathodic protection (CP) system survey (anode condition survey and CP potential measurement). The inspection and survey work shall be conducted using a work class ROV. However, a diver inspection may be considered for survey of the CP system on areas difficult to access by
ROV such as the FPSO hull underside. Where a diver is used, the Contractor shall adhere strictly to the specification of ExxonMobil’s Diving requirements. The subsea inspection shall involve the use of ROV to inspect all subsea equipment (In-line tee; Flow line end terminals; Christmas Trees; Jumpers), risers, flow lines (including flex joints), umbilical, underwater part of the FPSO Hull, offloading lines (including flex joints), and the submerged part of the calm buoy. The subsea inspection shall cover but not limited to the following: • General condition of the equipment
• Detection of leaks Condition of features such as crossings, mechanical anchors, saddle blocks,
junctions, sub-sea valves assemblies, spool pieces, flanged joints, mechanical connectors, or hyperbaric weld
• Condition of the insulation • Condition of the anticorrosion coating • Condition of the field joints wrapping • Detection of bare metal areas • Cathodic protection potential measurement/anodes activity and depletion • Presence of debris in contact/close proximity to any equipment • Verification and measurement of free spans • Detection of scouring of subsea equipment support • Any other anomaly that may compromise the integrity of the subsea
equipment. The general field layout of USAN field inspection zone is as shown in Figure 2.
Eleven main areas have been detailed and sketched up graphically, however for the current scope shall cover only ten areas as outlined below:

Survey of all subsea members of Jacket (excluding the legs which are flooded), support stubs to guides and clamps for risers, caissons and J-tubes.
GVI - Risers, Spool pieces and Guides
Risers, spool pieces and riser bolted clamp attachments to jacket. Free spans in spool pieces should be reported as anomalies (anomaly code SU).
GVI - Caissons and Supports
All caissons, caisson supports to jacket and in particular at the intakes as well as around the level of the pumps (where present). Note: If possible the Cutting Caisson (C5) should be assessed during drilling in progress in order to check cutting flow at EL -14m and end of the caisson
GVI - J-Tubes and Support Clamps
All J-Tubes and bolted clamp attachments to jacket.
GVI – Conductors and Conductor Guides
All conductors and conductor guides. Note: Special attention needs to be given to conductor No. 42 at EL -39m in order to check discharge which was identified based on 2010 ROV inspection video records
Cathodic Potential Measurements – Jacket
Legs, selected jacket members, template, piles and pile guides at selected locations shown in sketches and listed in datasheets.
Cathodic Potential Measurements - Risers, Spoolpieces and Guides
Risers and guides at each guide elevation and midway between guides. Spool pieces at 5m intervals from riser base flange to burial point or to 25m out from the base of the jacket.
Cathodic Potential Measurements - Caissons and Supports
Caissons and supports at each support elevation, caissons midway between supports and at bottom.
Cathodic Potential Measurements - J-Tubes and Support Clamps
J-Tube and support clamps at each clamp elevation and mid-way between clamps.
Cathodic Potential Measurements - Conductors, Guides and Template
Conductors and guides at elevations shown in the datasheet.
Anode Survey Not planned for year 2013
Seabed Survey Conductors, piles and legs at the mud line. Level of the scour / deposition is to be estimated to +/-150mm relative to centre of -146.1m bracing at legs and conductors. Clear debris from jacket and template to 5m from jacket; spool pieces to burial point or for 25m from riser base flange.
