HOW DID HUTTEN START OUT?

“Hutten is a family owned company which has been active in the furniture industry since 1935. We grew to be market leaders in the Netherlands, and big contenders in the European market. About ten years ago, I took over and I’m very proud of everything Hutten has accomplished over time.”

HOW DO YOU DISTINGUISH YOURSELF FROM COMPETITORS?

“We have our own factory in Tilburg, Netherlands. This way we keep full control of the production process and can work faster. It also gives us the opportunity to experiment with new ideas, like a different kind of stitching on your sofa, switch up modular elements, laser a pattern or logo onto a tabletop, or make a whole new design!

When clients arrive here, they’re usually very surprised by the size of the factory behind our office, as well as by the endless possibilities for their project. With having our own factory comes having a lot of very skilled people with great knowledge. That’s why we’re highly flexible when it comes to finding solutions to designproblems.”

That includes the ability to bend wood for curved furniture, give it a smooth finish in the colour and style of your choice, and upholster it in one of our fabrics or in one of yours.

Q-PORT IS THE OFFICE FOR COMPANIES WITH A VISION.

THE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN IS BY VOLKER ULRICH.

Commissioned by Big Brands, Hutten provided the 6 meter long double sofa for Q-port in Amsterdam. It has

become a true eyecatcher within the impressive space.

Contemporary design and bold use of colour add to the overall

concept and feel.

This unique sofa is a great example of a succesfull

M+R INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE TOOK ON THE JOB OF

DESIGNING THE NEW AND IMPROVED BDO.

Hutten was asked to provide a part of the furniture. Important

was the new concept: “Different seating areas make

it possible to discuss, work, and brainstorm. There are meetingrooms, the entire

space is flexible within use and fit to give presentations, hold

receptions etc.”

This concept was already succesfully executed on multiple locations.

Sustainability was key within this project. Hutten’s furniture

meets all those standards, from tables and stools, to

modern lounge chairs.

HOUSING CORPORATION TIWOS FROM TILBURG HAS

BEEN SERIOUSLY RENOVATED LATELY. AMAZING!

The project was designed by Burobas: “The building on

the Stationsstraat in Tilburg was completely redone with

the aim to make ‘real contact’. Together, with tenants

from Tiwos and with social partners. The renovation is anopportunity to make big step towards a more sustainable

future.“

Hutten contributed by providing part of the furniture.

Among other things our Bilbao chair was chosen, which

happens to be a design by Burobas as well.

ONE OF NORDSEE’S ESTABLISMENTS, WITH THE

FULL MODERN NAUTICAL EXPERIENCE.

When this Nordsee location opened its doors, Hutten

provided furniture; Tables with wooden and tiled tabletops

combined with colourful Evia-chairs, modern nautical stools

and yacht-like benches to complement the theme.

Because of our years of experience furnishing hotel-

and restaurant facilities, we can help create the most suiting and appropriate furniture for

you.

STARBUCKS ADDED ANOTHER ESTABLISMENT TO THEIR

LIST, ON A SPECIAL LOCATION THIS TIME.

The coffeebar can be found below the Central Library at

Blaak, Rotterdam. Previously to the opening a big renovation

took place.

Hutten was asked to provide customized furniture in the

corporate identity style, resulting in a warm, cozy

space that invites you to have a nice cup of coffee! Among

other things we provided tables, modern sofas, a bar, illuminated stairs and made

sure everything was properly installed.

Also, for Starbucks in the centre of Rotterdam, Hutten

designed and made a custom oval bench (photo on page

17), providing endless seating space and comfort.

FOR YEARS HUTTEN HAS TAKEN CARE OF MANY

BURGER KING INTERIORS. THIS TIME; NIJMEGEN.

Hutten took care of the interior. Tables with a lasered logo’s, chairs, benches, the counter

and bins, but that wasnot all. We also took care of all

the typical Burger Kingsigning, like the Flame Grilled

logo, burger-wall and FEEDME!-stickers.

For every franchiser and multi-store brand, Hutten maintains

a dedicated catalogue. Catalogue and services are set in cooperation with the central buying department of a client.

WHERE IN THE PAST CREMATORIUMS WERE

UNINVITING SPACES, THIS ONE TURNED OUT DIFFERENT.

The crematorium in Borne -designed by Schipperdouwes- really embraces its surrounding

nature. The focus lies on a warm environment, to properly

say goodbye to your loved ones.

Hutten provided custom benches, upholstered Olli- and

Bilbao-chairs in soft colours and round wooden tables, that

perfectly blend with the used materials in the architecture.

We primarily work with FSC and PEFC certified materials, both in solid wood and chipboard material/construction for banks etc. We focus on minimizing waste in our production with the choice of materials, our planning method and state of the art technology and processing.

Hutten is environmentally friendly

We are using only water-based stains, recycle solvents, spray electrostatically, re-use cleaning materials etc.For our fabric collection we also work with fabrics from recycled materials. The packaging material we use is recycled. Further information will be gladly provided upon request.
