Additional Dataset Considerations
Dataset Technical Description This dataset provides tabular responses by randomly selected residents of Davidson County to quality and rating questions from the satisfaction survey conducted through mail, phone, and Internet. Data is presented in a categorical format (e.g. responses to questions can range from “Very Satisfied” to “Very Dissatisfied.”) Certain information collected in the survey and used for crosstabs (e.g., respondent demographics) is omitted until a large enough sample is collected for valid statistical analysis. Metro contracted ETC Institute to conduct the survey.
Dataset Assumptions Data provided portrays the questions as they most recently appeared in the quarterly Metro Resident Survey. The questions and their wording may change over time.

This dataset was created at the request of the Mayor’s Office to provide public access to the feedback data from the Metro Resident Survey.
How was the Dataset Created?
ETC Institute, under Metro contract, performs data entry, editing, and verification of survey responses. Data is delivered in tabular format to Metro.
