METHODOLOGY FOR PUMP & SUMP ROOM Scope: Construction of RCC work in pump and sump room Reference: Drawings no: ssidc/pwitc/wd/sd-113 and Technical Specifications Responsibility: Site Engineer and site supervisor Checked By: Site In-charge and QA Engineer Procedure: 01. Safety Precautions: as per EHS. 02. PCC 1:4:8 of 100mm thick is laid as per drawing and detailed specifications. 03. Surface cleaning and marking for raft is to be done. 04. Reinforcement tying is done for Raft & Wall verticals. 05. Shuttering is done with proper supports. 06. M30 grade concrete is poured with proper vibrating up to raft level. 07. Reinforcement & concrete for Raft, And Wall up to 300 mm will be done monolithically. 08. Wall reinforcement horizontal are tied up to 1 st lift i.e. sump is 1.2m height & pump is 2.4m height. 09. PVC water stopper is tied to steel frame work through eyelets by means of small wire (binding wire) to keep it in proper position where 50% width of bar should be below the 1 st lift concrete level. 10. Form work is fixed for wall at both sides of wall. 11. M30 grade concrete is poured with proper vibrating.
