Messiah was asked, "Which is the greatest Commandment"

He answered from what is called The Sh’ma, Deut 6:4

The Words in the Sh’ma were originally spoken by Him,

YHVH - Yahoshua and recorded by Moshe in the TORAH.

The Word Sh’ma in itself is a Command to HEAR.

Together, the SH’MA and His Name YHVH, as in

SH’MA YHVH is a Command to HEAR YHVH.

all your being, and all your might. And these words which I am

commanding to you today shall be in your heart, and you shall

impress them upon your children, and shall speak of them when

you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when

you lay down, and when you rise up, and you shall bind them

as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. And you shall write them on the

doorposts of your house and on your gates."

The Sh’ma articulates a fundamental principle which

differentiates followers of 0T

 יהוה0Tfrom the pagan world.

אחדיהוה0 -  YHVH IS ONE.

The Command SH’MA, "HEAR," summons the follower to

attend the undeniable message that follows. This call to

attention is most important, and ones hearing senses become

significant. In contrast to seeing which can lead us into idolatry,

hearing leads to obedience. What we hear poses the least dimensional

and is easier to grasp. Without visual interference, our total attention

can be concentrated on the specific wording. It is the least difficult of

our senses to error. Hearing does not require another sense to inspirethe meaning, and it is the least of our senses to influence imagination

and error.  Abba 0T  יהוה speaks clearly, and impresses His Word for

eternity. Hearing is the easiest sense to lead one into obedience.

The Name 0T יהוה is pronounced by HIM, 'YahVay,' and is the Hebrew

name our Creator gave mankind by which we would know Him. 0T

יהוה is

The Name above all names, and is The Personal Name of the One Who

Created the Heavens and the Earth. 0Tהוהי Is the One Who spoke all

things into existence, and sustains them with the Word of His Power.

0T . Is a personal El and seeks a personal relationship with each of usיהוה

He is our Strength and our Refuge and calls us each by name.

In Shemot 3:13-15 Exodus, Moshe (Moses) asked, When they say,

"What is His Name, what shall I say to them?"

Abba  YHVH first taught Moshe the meaning of His Name.

And 0T אלהיםיהוה  0Tsaid to Moshe,

"EHEYEH ASHER EHEYEH,

 אהיה אשר אהיה0

There are at least three meanings here.

1.) I AM THAT I AM. I AM THE EVER EXISTING ONE.

There are none above Me nor beside Me, None before

Me nor after Me. I Am Thee I AM.

2.) I WILL BE WHATEVER I WILL BE.

3.) I WILL BE FOR YOU WHAT   YOU NEED ME TO BE.

I AM, certainly means forever existing.

I Will Be, He put on the flesh for us and became

our Yahshua-YHVH Is my Salvation.

I Will Be for you what you need Me to be,

And we needed Him to be Our atonement.

 Yahoshua-YHVH Is my Salvation Completed.

YHVH taught Moshe the complete plan of salvation in His

Name. Then YHVH gave His Name to Moshe saying,

"Thus you shall say to the people of Yisra'el,

EHEYEH (I WILL BE) has sent Me to you."

And Elohim further said to Moshe, "Thus you are to say

to the children of Yisra'el, 0Tהוהי Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Avraham, the Elohim of Yitshaq,

and the Elohim of Ya'akov, has sent Me to you.THIS IS MY NAME FOREVER, AND THIS

IS THE WAY YOU ARE MENTION ME

THROUGHOUT YOUR GENERATIONS." 'YAH' the first syllable in 0T

is the short poetic formיהוהof His Name, as in "Hallelu YAH," praise be to YAH.

'Eloah' has the basic meaning of mighty one. Elohim, its

plural form literally means Mighty Ones. 0T

, Elohimיהוה

by personal name, sets apart which Mighty One.

The word choice Moshe made in the Sh’ma is the

singular form, as opposed to Sh’mu,

it's plural. Moshe spoke to the entire

people of Yisra'el as One People, and not as a mass of people.

Sh’ma YHVH - 0T

יהוהשמע (a single word) is a call to all

Israel as one people, Hear the Word of YHVH-0Tהוהי 0T

and render due reverence to His Name. There is one objective reality in the Sh’ma.

. is Oneיהוה0 Sh’ma YHVH likewise focuses on The One Who

speaks into existence, creation both temporal and eternal. YHVH ECHAD, ONE Creator-Savior, Set Apart,

from the plurality of paganism.

The last letter of the words Sh’ma and Echad are enlarged in

the Hebrew Sh’ma. The Ayin0T  is enlarged to distinguish itע

from the Alef 0T

א0Twhich sounding the same would change its

meaning from Sh’ma -0T

עשמ  to perhaps –0T

שמא or maybe.

The Daled 0T

ד0Tis enlarged to distinguish it from the Resh 0T

.רIf these two look alike letters were to be confused

here, the meaning of ECHAD 0T

דאח would change

from ONE, to other –0T

אחר or another.

The Precept of YHVH ECHAD is widely misunderstood.

This precious precept sets aside any doubt, that our

Creator is ONE, and only ONE. In The Sh’ma it

becomes clear that HE Is ONE, not several. We

do not have to think of which Mighty One, at

what time, or where to look. No one is hiding.

Abba  YHVH0T

 . is accessible to allיהוה

When we take the Ayin and Daled together,

spelled0T

אדי

0T

we have the Hebrew word for witness. Yeshayahu 43:10-11 testifies. Atem 'Ed'ai - 0T

 אתם אדיAtem (Alef-Tav-Mem), Edai (Ayin-Daled-Yud), Atem 'Ed'ai,

"You are My witnesses," declares0T  יהוה "And understand

that I am He. Before Me there was no El formed,

nor after me there is none. I, I AM0T יהוה AND

BESIDES ME THERE IS NO SAVIOR."

There are many Scriptures that testify in first person,

YHVH Himself testifying that He is One.

His Name is the beginning of Wisdom.

This is where Wisdom begins.
