Dear Parents and Carers Yaama Naplan Naplan results (For Years 3 and 5) have come out and our teachers are looking at the results and where we are heading as a school in terms of learning. If you have any concerns or queries when you receive your child’s results, please see you child’s classroom teacher. Friday Assembly Our second Friday assemble is happening this Friday at 2:15pm and our 3-6 students have been working hard on their performances. We look forward to seeing you there! Tell the From Me Parent Surveys It’s that time of the year where we start gathering information about student engagement and wellbeing and the impact of teaching practices at our school from the perspective of students, teachers and parents. The NSW-wide survey for parents is now open. We would love to hear from you through this survey as it helps provide feedback to inform our future directions. Additional information about the surveys can be found at https:// surveys.cese.nsw.gov.au/images/FAQs/TTFM_Student_Survey_FAQs_Parent_ and_Carers_T12019e.pdf The surveys are completely anonymous. The survey is a great opportunity for our students to provide us with valuable and quick feedback on what they think about school life, how engaged they are with school and the different ways that teachers interact with them. I want to assure you that the survey is confidential. The survey is conducted online and will typically take less than 30 minutes

‘to complete. A consent form for parents/carers about the survey is being sent home today. If you do not want your child or

children to participate, please return the form to school by Monday 23 September. Copies of the form and FAQs are available

from: http://surveys.cese.nsw.gov.au/information-for-parents.

Staff Professional LearningOur staff, like our students are always learning and practicing their skills. This Tuesday afternoon, staff will be

participating in their annual CPR and Anaphylaxis training at school.

Kindergarten 2020Enrolments are now being taken for students starting Kindergarten in 2020. Enrolment packages can be collected

from our school front office.

Learning and GrowingLachlan did some great writing about the big bad wolf and met his learning goals!

ATTENTION YR 4/5 PARENTS

Students in 4/5 are trialing a more interactive approach to learning this week with an online classroom for

some parts of the day.

If your child would like to bring in their own headphones to use with

our laptops/iPads please send them in labelled with your child’s name.

The Life Education Van and Healthy Harold will be visiting our students in Term 4 Week 1 (15th - 17th October 2019), to provide information, understanding, skills and strategies required to make safe decisions about their own health and well-being.
