SVVFD has : - strong experienced command staff (chief, asst chiefs, captains) -solid team of volunteer firefighters who act professionally - training center and training staff (closely aligned with Cal Fire) who conduct a complete curriculum -Protective equipment in good shape - Apparatus (fire engines) well maintained and ready for service Message from the President SVVFD was the first responder to major fires and emergencies in our neighborhood this year. An arsonist lit 13 fires on Calaveras Road. Homes were saved from the Kahler Court fire. Property above the golf course burned in June.
