trainer complete with engine, remote, batteries, and lots of accessories. I have
pictures if anyone is interested. I was looking to get $250 for it all. I have paid at
least $1000 for everything over the years. The plane is about 10 years old and the

MODEL OF THE MONTH
John Behne brought in his new Red Hobby Hanger
Fokker D-7 biplane. The wing span is 51”, length 41”,
weighs 5 pounds, powered by a Magnum 0.52 4-stroke
and is covered with Solartex . Marking are hand painted
Giant RC Hobby Liquidation Sale RC Model Airplanes, Cars and Associated
Accessories. A member of NCRCC, who has been an
RC modeler for 30 years, is selling off his entire stable
of
RC Airplanes and RC cars. The airplanes range from
Giant Scale Texan and Fokker Tri-plane to beginner trainers. Some are assembled and ready to fly. Others
are ARF kits and some are regular kits. Also included
is an invent-tory of engines, both 2-stroke and 4- stroke - from a Zenoah G-62 to a Yz A engines. A large
selection of RC radios, mostly Futaba, in 4,6, 7,8, and
9 channel configurations. Many of these radios are new in the box or only slightly used. Accessories of
all types for the RC model enthusiast, to include
Monokote, paint (Aerogloss and Sig Supercoat), batteries and chargers, and all kinds of hardware. If
you are an RC modeler, either a novice or a longtime
enthusiast, you will find some great bargains in my basement. Everything must be sold. Since there is so
much merchandise and it is all in my basement, this
collection is being sold by appointment only.

Emma Holmgren has authorized us to raffle off some
of Jack Holmgren’s RC Models with the proceeds to be
donated to the RC Propbusters in Jack’s name. Jack
was an active member for many years and as a Club
Field Marshall & Safety Officer he made sure we flew
safely, paid attention to the rules, and in his spare
time he helped maintained our equipment and our field.

Minutes of the November 19, 2013 RC Propbusters Meeting
Meeting was called to order by Dennis at 7:30 pm with 33 members present. Treasurer and Secretary not
present.
The minutes of the October 15, 2013 were read and accepted.
No Treasurer report, Ron not present. Ending balance from 10/15/13 meeting was $15650.78.
Committees
Weather Station: Bernie gave a brief report, broadband communication to expensive so they will look at
cell communications, work in progress.
Old Business
Dennis reports that Ron will keep the Port-a-Potty open for a while longer, maybe close end of
November.
Dennis reports that there is a little more mowing/cleanup to do them mower will be transported to
Rom’s house for maintenance.
New Business
January 1, 2013 New Year’s Fly-in.
Fred will raffle off the T6 and Hellcat at the January meeting. Ticket still available ($10), see Fred.

Fred asks that member get their dues submitted as soon as possible so the Secretary can get membership
cards out in a timely manner and get the club AMA Charter renewal submitted on time.
Tom Vernon asked all members to be on the lookout for people, nonmembers or members, not cleaning
up after their dogs and to remind all that dogs must be on a leash. Also, please don’t throw cigarette
butts on the grass, it is our field and our job to help maintain it so if you see some butts on the ground
please clean them up.
