WHO WE ARE
THE AIR PERMITIs one of many permits that need to be acquired.
We follow the science and the law.
We administer the established rules and laws that are in our jurisdiction.◦ The Air permit covers the applicable
laws and regulations that are in NDAC 33-15.
AIR QUALITYWe track ACTUAL air quality levels through a state-wide network of ambient monitors.◦ State & Federal Ambient Air Quality

◦ Health-Based concentrations to protect the most vulnerable of the population.

◦ Two within Theodore Roosevelt NP, one at the North Unit and one at the South Unit.

55,000 barrels per day crude oil processing.
AQ rules require permitting of the full planned facility (both Phases).
They can only operate at the level of the most stringent permit.
