    St Fagans is one of Europe's leading open-air museums and Wales's most popular heri-tage attraction. It stands in the grounds ofthe magnificent St Fagans Castle, a late 16th-century manor house donated to the peopleof Wales by the Earl of Plymouth.

    Ffos Las has brought back top class racing to West Wales for the first time since

    1937. You can find us at the heart of Carmarthenshire between the towns Llanelli andCarmarthen, and near the city of Swansea.

    The 60 acre setting is magnificent. Surrounded by rolling hills and countryside and

    have views down the Gwendraeth Valley to Carmarthen Bay. It is almost impossible to

    believe that Ffos Las was the former site of the largest open cast coalmine in Europe.

    One of the main focal points here at Ffos Las has to be our amazing sculpture. Situ-

    ated in front of the Winners Enclosure, the Spirit of the Race sculpture provides the

    perfect meeting place as well as a great photo opportunity for all racegoers.
