A. Rule 2-7.9 - 10-second backcourt count

1. No visible count

2. Shot clock starts on first legal touch inbounds

B. Rule 9-17.3.c – Goaltending

1. Ball that touches backboard with any part above rim is considered on downward flight

C. Rule 10-1.14.c – Swinging of elbow fouls

1. Illegal contact above shoulders is not automatic F1

2. Can be common foul

A. Rule 4-17.4.d – Airborne shooter/passer-legal guarding position

1. Return to prior rule

2. Exception to requirements to establish initial legal guarding position

3. Must establish legal guarding position before player with ball leaves floor

4. Upward motion of arms no longer a determining factor

5. If defender establishes legal guarding position before shooter becomes airborne, defender may jump straight in the air or move backwards
