LONGEST MEMBERSHIP: Edith V. joined in January of 2007.
OLDEST MEMBER: Eddie W. age 96. There are 22 club members age 90 or older. YOUNGEST MEMBER: Jill N, age 28.
LARGEST FAMILIES: Edward K. has 8 children and 45 grandchildren,Richard M. has 8 children and 16 grandchildren.
MOST PETS: Gloria T. has 2 rabbits, 3 guinea pigs, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 4 birds, 4 fish.
Club Members live in: Aurora, Beachwood, Bedford Heights, Chagrin Falls, Chesterland, Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, East Cleveland, Euclid, Garfield Heights, Gates Mills, Lyndhurst, Maple Heights, Mayfield Heights, Mentor, Moreland Hills, Painesville, Parma Heights, Pepper Pike, Richmond Heights, Shaker Heights, Solon, South Euclid, University Heights, Warrensville Heights, Willoughby and Willowick.

John Stofko Retires
Families may know John as a bus driver, however, ADC clients and staff know John as an Activity staff member as well. John is particularly known for how crafty he is. He has made props for plays (including a Flinstone car!), a wide variety of crafts for the toddlers and pre-schoolers that visit twice per month, bulletin boards, centerpieces, tissue flowers for every occasion and more.
John retired after 13 years of service to Menorah Park. We will sure miss him! John looks forward to spending more time with his wife Paulette, a former Menorah Park employee in Accounting.
BELAIR CLUB went to Freeway Lanes for bowling and pizza.

Throughout our lifetimes we’ve likely met new people, been enrolled in school, or applied for a job; and filled out forms for banks, insurers, medical providers and others. Sharing information is at the core of every relationship. Our relationship with our Adult Day Center clients and their families is born as we exchange information.
At the Adult Day Center, we maintain key demographic information, including a list of emergency contacts, on behalf of all of our clients. We collaborate with their families, doctors, care managers and other service providers to promote their satisfaction, well-being, and safety. This is why we require information at the inception of our relationship with each client, and updates as changes occur. We are dependent upon our clients and/or their families, to hold up their end of the bargain.
Our clients often have to depend on others to share their vital information for them. They may not know their wife’s cell phone number, or their son’s work number. Too often, we don’t either- because numbers have been changed, and we’ve not found out about it. Some of our clients have had to endure unnecessary stress and risk, when we’ve been unable to get in touch with their family members to report a concern.
Imagine if your loved one suffered a medical emergency which required ambulance transport to the nearest emergency room. Imagine how difficult and dangerous it could be for doctors to decide on treatments without knowing the medical history, medications, or allergies; who the current primary care doctor is, or how to contact the family. It’s been said that information is power- and it’s pretty obvious that having the right information would be beneficial and perhaps even life-saving! So remember: sharing is caring.
It is our privilege to develop collaborative relationships with our clients and their family caregivers. We appreciate information and updates that we receive on behalf of our clients and wish to thank our clients and their family members for participating in a relationship with us. We are most grateful for the opportunity to share and to care. Here’s to a warm and beautiful month of May!
