The mission of the Sacred Heart League, formerly called the Sacred Heart Auxiliary, is to promote a deeper spiritual life among God’s people through a greater devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Members of the Sacred Heart League make a commitment to prayerfully and monetarily support the mission of the Carmelite Sisters and Staff at Sacred Heart Retreat House. Through the spiritual benefits and works, members grow in greater devotion to the Sacred Heart.

Membership Spiritual Benefits• The prayers of the Carmelite Sisters for

you and your intentions during their daily Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament

• The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered for you every first Friday of the month at the Retreat House Chapel of the Most Sacred Heart

• The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered for you each Saturday during weekend retreats at the Retreat House Chapel of the Most Sacred Heart

• A membership card mailed out yearly after June renewal

• Automatically registered for E-News and Retreat Notes mailing

Membership Spiritual Works• Pray the Sacred Heart Novena yearly

nine days prior to the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart in May or June

• Strive to attend Mass on the First Friday of nine consecutive months, according to the 12 Promises of the Sacred Heart

• Strive for a deeper relationship with Jesus through daily prayer and attending yearly retreats at Sacred Heart Retreat House, or other retreat centers in your local area

• Support the mission of Sacred Heart Retreat House by attending events, fi-nancially supporting, and/or helping to spread the knowledge of our services
