Davina and her miniature poodle recently moved in to their new home and seek to make changes appropriate to their current lifestyle. Their bedroom is intended to be a place to relax and enjoy each other’s company. A single, decorative seating area near the window is requested. Miss Davina prefers pastel warm colors for the room, preferably pink. For the Social room, she expects company several times a month and hosts semi-formal gatherings. A bar is requested as well as bar stools and club chairs throughout the room. A variety of light is needed depending on what type of atmosphere she wishes to create on different occasions. General lighting is necessary, with dimmers, as well as accent lighting near the bar area and fireplace also on dimmers. A wall mounted sound system is already included in the room to play mood music. The wall behind the bar is already mirrored and the island is already in place. The atmosphere is social, relaxed but with the option of being lively. The color for the walls is intended to be pink gold.

Bedroom & Walk-in Closet Design

Mr. & Mrs. Steele are looking forward to redecorating their bedroom and walk-in closet. They both live very busy lives and look forward to coming home to a welcoming atmosphere that reflects their taste. Mr. Steele enjoys 19th century art, and Mrs. Steele prefers coming home to an eclectic home. As much as Mrs. Steele enjoys modern furniture, she has a passion for early 1900’s furniture from the Art Deco era. The paint colors they have mentioned are warm, romantic colors in the bedroom and cool, refreshing colors in the closet.

Bathroom Design Engy and her family is looking into redoing her family bathroom. She wants to separate the one bathroom into two separate ones; one for her children and guests and another for herself and her husband. In both bathrooms she prefers natural stone tiles, preferably in black and white. In the master bathroom, she wishes to have a shower along the back wall with a small seat built-in to the design. She would prefer a small vanity with mirrors and wall mounted lighting. In the children and guest bathroom, Mrs. Engy would rather a bath with a shower over head, the same color schemes except natural wood for the vanity with a double sink. Since Mrs. Engy’s previous bathroom will be split in two, the plumbing must correspond to the current places.

Kitchen Design Mrs. Engy is planning in her near future to redecorate her kitchen. Her storage is currently limited and she feels like the current style of her cabinetry doesn’t reflect her personal taste. She has a preference for natural materials – dark natural wood and natural stones. Engy would like everything replaced, except her refrigerator, dishwasher and stove. All of her cabinetry, flooring, wall paint, backsplash, countertop and eating area are to be redone. The paint color she prefers would be in the dusty pinks or earth tones.
