AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

1. Orchestral Excerpts Melbourne Youth Chamber Strings: Excerpts 1-4 only Percy Grainger Youth Orchestra: Excerpts 1-4 only Melbourne Youth Orchestra: Excerpts 1-6 NB: Applicants are expected to prepare ALL excerpts. All markings and instructions (e.g. bowing, dynamics, tempi, etc.) are to be observed.

2. Own choice work

A concerto movement or other appropriate solo work that best demonstrates your technical

abilities and musicianship.
