Encourage NHS organisations + independent healthcare providers to develop cultures that are honest and transparent to actively encourage staff to raise the alarm when they see poor practice and protect them when they do so

The benefits of engaging trainee doctors in leading change and spreading innovation should not be underestimated. Trainee doctors are able to spread innovation across trusts in unique ways because they understand the structure from the bottom up and are often keen to make a difference to make a difference to services before they move on.

What stops juniors getting involved in service change and improvement
