may 30-june 4 . . . Lowell, MA Five-day workshop on Certification Review for Health Physi- cists (CRHP). The University of Lowell offers a certification review program for health physicists consisting of two options. This professional level program gives specific preparation for the American Board of Health Physics Certification Examination. For option 1, participants receive five certifications - like examinations with solutions, a manual on the fundamentals of radiological sciences and protection, recommendations on additional refer- ence material, and general guidance for this independent study approach. The second option of this program is an additional intensive review session scheduled for May 30-June 4. This one- week workshop,.in addition to providing further preparation; enables participants to evaluate their individual progress. Evening sessions are devoted.to general discussions of the health physics specialties represented by the participants. Due to limited class size, early registration is recommended for participants who plan to attend this review session. This l~rogram, including review session, has been approved for 16 units of credit toward the continuing education requirement for recertif ication:by the American Board of Health Physics.
