THE RED LION INN

The Red Lion Inn provides classic New England service and hospitality, as well as inspiring, well-equipped meeting spaces. Step into our antiques-filled lobby. Prop your feet up in one of

our 125 well-appointed, turn-of-the-century rooms or vllages guest houses. Relax by a crackling fire. Have a drink in our cozy tavern. Or just sit on our legendary porch and watch the world

go by. It’s a little like a Norman Rockwell painting come to life - reflecting the simple Berkshire way of life where hospitality and gracious living combine to create an authentic experieice like no other. What’s more, the area’s plethora of outdoor and cultural activities serves to inspire

and fire the imagination. And best of all, while you might feel light-years away from the office, you’re actually less than a 3-hour drive from New York and Boston.

MEETINGS AND EVENTSAt the Red Lion Inn, we can accomodate all types of meetings including corporate groups, leadership retreats, team-building, board meetings and annual conferences for up to 80 people. And it all starts wiht our eight unique meeting spaces. Each offers a distinctive blend of New England tradition and the kind of modern amenities you’d come to expect from much larger meeting facilities.

HITCHCOCK - capacity 100The Hitchcock Room is the largest of our meeting spaces. An entrance foyer provides space for on-site registration and the room layout can easily accommodate a separate area for breaks.

TOWNSEND - capacity 40An inviting mid-size conference room, the Townsend Room combines traditional New Englad hospitality with modern hotel convenience.

PLUMB - capacity 8Overlooking the courtyard, the cheerful and inspiring Plumb Room is perfect for an executive “think tank,” private meetings, private dining and other small business and social events.

TREADWAY - capacity 16Originally the chauffeur’s dining room, the Treadway Room is the perfect setting for a social occasion or board meeting. In addition, small banquets or private dinners are ideal for this beautiful meeting space.

STAFFORD HOUSE - capacity 10The Stafford House is a beautiful old Berkshire residence adjacent to the main inn. It features three one-bedroom suites and a formal living room suitable for use as a small meeting space and private dinners.

THE FIREHOUSE - capacity 50The Firehouse once served as the village fire station and was even depicted in one of Norman Rockwell’s paintings. This historic Stockbridge landmark has been converted into a spacious executive suite with a downstairs living and meeting area including a full kitchen.

MAPLE GLEN - capacity 20Maple Glen is the largest guest house at The Red Lion Inn with 17 rooms. A central social space with the latest in technology makes it the perfect location for small meetings, presentations, receptions and other events.

STEVENS HOUSE - capacity 10The Stevens House is located across the street from the main inn. This house had nine deluxe guestrooms, full kitchen, living room, private parking and a front porch. The living room features a working fireplace.

SIDE PARLOR - capacity 28The Side Parlor is conveniently located just off the lobby on the first floor of the main inn. It’s perfect for receptions or social gatherings.

THE SIDE PIAZZA - capacity 20The Side Piazza is conveniently located just off the main dining room on the first floor of the main inn. This charming porch is perfect for cocktail receptions and private dining.

BANQUET SERVICES

Our culinary team, led by our Executive Chef Max Kiperman, is responsible for producing our banquet menus and meals. Emphasizing natural flavors and the use of

local ingredients, Max’s menus reflect his strong belief in community sustainability and the bounty of each changing season.

We not only off a full selection of function and event menus, our chef and sommelier are also flexible with group food preferences and allergies. They are happy to work directly with

you to create a custom designed menu that fits your vision, theme and budget.

RESTAURANTS AND TAVERNSThe Red Lion Inn offers four distinct formal and casual eateries to satisfy every appetite and mood.

THE MAIN DINING ROOMSurrounded by soft candlelight, crystal chandeliers, antique china and colonial pewter, The Red Lion Inn’s main dining room offers a delectable blend of traditional favorites and contemporary interpretations of classic New England cuisine. What’s more, the Inn’s exceptional wine list has received Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence for fourteen consecutive years. Open dauly for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

WIDOW BINGHAM’S TAVERNNamed for one of the Inn’s oriiginal owners, Widow Bingham’s Tavern offers the Inn’s traditional favorites and updated classics in a cozy, casual setting. Hearty sandwiches, fresh salads and savory soups are served up in a rustic atmosphere adorned with historic signs, wicker baskets and other memorabilia. Open for lunch and dinner.

THE COURTYARDFor those who enjoy the casual ambiance of open-air summer dining, the flower-filled Courtyard provides a magnificent garden setting for lunch or dinner from June through September. The menu features traditional favorites as well as seasonal specialties. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail under the stars after a hard day of work or a night of theater or music. Open for lunch and dinner - weather permitting.

THE LION’S DENThe Lion’s Den Pub, located downstairs from the main level of the Inn, offers lighter fare with a pub special each evening. Live entertainment seven nights a week - never a cover charge.
