Office of Naval Research (ONR) Expeditionary Maneuver Warfare

ONR’s Expeditionary Maneuver Warfare Department (Code 30) Plans, executes, and manages an integrated (6.1-6.3) portfolio of scientific research and technology development in Expeditionary Maneuver Warfare in order to provide advanced warfighting capabilities for the future Marine Corps, MARSOC, NSW and NECC.

Advance state-of-the-art technology and scientific knowledge

Expand warfighting capabilities through development and transfer of mission-relevant S&T and scientific knowledge

Inform both new operating concepts and requirements development

Agile, smart, and lethal…dominant technology advantage whenever and wherever the Expeditionary

Force needs it.
