the iStand Campaign Trinda L. Owens is the founder of the iStand Campaign which is a culture-creating movement to stand up for right and against wrong and iStand Ministries, formerly N2Deep Ministries, a community outreach service. Trinda is a dynamic and energetic youth speaker who has more than 20 years of experience con-necting with middle school to college-age young people. Through engaging presentations that showcase people. Through engaging presentations that showcase her skills as a rapper, Trinda lives her passion to motivate and mentor youth.

Trinda speaks to kids in all walks of life – from schools to detention centers to church. Since its founding in October 2011 Trinda has led more than 2000 youth to make the personal commitment, “iStand today for a better tomorrow.” Trinda believes everyone on earth was born with life purpose, and as she encour-ages young people to stand up against bullying, child abuse, domestic violence, racism and more, you will abuse, domestic violence, racism and more, you will hear her motto, “I’m not here just to be here.”

Trinda survived a childhood of domestic violence, divorce, running away, drugs, suicidal thoughts, alcohol, low self-esteem and low academic perfor-mance to escape to college only experience more of the same – and worse because those suicidal thoughts became attempts. After two years and three major changes, Trinda settled on social work where she learned two valuable lessons that started her on the learned two valuable lessons that started her on the road to healing. First, get to the root of the problem and second, don’t let your past dictate your future.
