ESSAYS – about 4 a year (narrative, argument, informative)

BOOK REPORTS – possibly

READING AT HOME – trade books, textbook

DAILY NOTEBOOKS– journals, notes, vocab, tracking

TEXTBOOKS – students get a copy of Holt Elements ofLiterature (yellow) & Elements of Language (green)

Tardy/AbsenceIt is important for your child to be here and on time to every class.

3 Tardies = Lunch Detention

Absences: For every day absent, your child has that many days to make up the work.
