‘Preparing our children for their future by equipping them with tools for life.’
About me…
Hello I’m Mrs Chrin (like Chris but with an ‘n’!)
I’ve been teaching for 11 years and have taught in Years 2, 3
and 4.
When training to be a teacher I also visited and taught in
France for a short time.
I want to see children enjoy learning and be challenged to
achieve their very best. My aim is to get children settled in to
Year 3 as quickly as possible.
In my free time I love seeing my friends and family,
crocheting, reading and eating good food!

Revise key skills from Year 2 before moving on to Year 3 curriculum. Topics covered this term will be:Place Value, Addition and Subtraction, Multiplication and Division
The Ancient Greeks - children will discover where Greece is and learn about the different stages. They will read Greek myths and legends, learn about everyday life for the Ancient Greeks, democracy and the Olympics.
Forces - children will learn about pushes and pulls, gravity and fiction, and the affect force can have on speed and direction. Light -children will learn key vocabulary linked to light and explore shadows
How do Christians show that reconciliation with God and others is important? What do Christians mean when they talk about the Kingdom of God?
Children will identify how music can be used descriptively by exploring Carinval of the Animals by Camille Saints - Saens.

Always speak to the class teacher first… Questions or concerns?
Getting a chance to speak to me… After school is best.
It may not be possible to speak at drop off time because of extended opening times but please do leave a message with any member of staff on duty.
Notes can be passed to the class teacher, or written in the home school logs. Pupils must alert teachers to the fact that a comment has been written in the school (as they are not checked on a daily basis).
Leave a message with the school office (either by phone or using the website) and I can call you back.

What is the form for? This allows your Year 3 or Year 4 child to be released from their teacher to transfer over to the KS1 playground to meet you.
This allows your child to leave the school site to walk home by themselves or meet you at an agreed location outside the school grounds.
This allows oldersiblings pick up children from school. It is also an agreement that the older sibling with follow the school rules whilst on site.
Is the child allowed to leave the site?
These forms only need to be completed if you need these arrangements in place. If not completed, your child will remain with their class teacher until they are collected by their parent/ carer.
