It is for this reason that Chartered Accountants are so highly regarded and respected, no matter which industry you are considering.

Chartered Accountants are required to have specialised knowledge of Tax, Accountancy, Financial Management, Corporate Governance and Internal Controls to name a few, making them very valuable to any business that aims to be successfully managed and controlled.

Qualifying, and then working as a Chartered Accountant requires a willingness to continuously learn, grow and challenge oneself. Leadership, people skills, an inquiring mind, professionalism, integrity and a solid sense of

What attributes do I need?

What is a professional?A professional is a person engaged in a paid occupation, especially one that requires a formal qualification. Does KPMG provide bursaries?KPMG currently has a bursary scheme in place in order to assist successful applicants with their financial needs while studying. The amount varies depending on each individual’s circumstances, but generally fees for tuition, books and residence are considered.

There is a requirement that students on the bursary scheme achieve certain academic requirements annually, and students need to be studying at a SAICA accredited university.

Students who have qualified for, and then accepted, a KPMG bursary are required to complete their training contract at KPMG.
