Space fans can purchase copies of the book in advance for autograph from the Goddard Space Flight Center Gift Shop (301-286-6476). Dr. Jones’ memoir is a summation of eleven years in the astronaut program, where this Distinguished Graduate of the United States Air Force and B-52 pilot spent 52 unforgettable days in earth orbit – including more than nineteen hours working outside the International Space Station during three extended periods of “sky walking”. His career included four shuttle flights, the last culminating in a series of death-defying space walks that helped bring the International Space Station to life.
