Master’s Thesis For modalities, the choice of the topic and the choice of the reviewer please check the fact sheet regarding the Master’s Thesis MSD 2017.

Focal Areas in Sustainability Research module (FASR) 12 CP There is no notification for this module in the detailed course directory (published each semester). The students can arrange their choice of classes by themselves and fix them in a Learning Agreement. Nonetheless, two criteria have to be considered:

1. The class has to be offered on master level (by the program in charge). 2. The class has to have a clear connection to sustainable development.

I.e. You may take lectures, seminars etc. which are offered by the MSD (2010 and 2017) or master degrees such as Economics, Biology, Sociology etc. and which have a clear reference to the topic of sustainable development. Please, make sure, you fulfill any participation criteria: if you like to take a lecture published in the module called “Core Competences in Natural Sciences” and you have chosen the Focus area in Social Sciences or in Economics, then you must have completed the module “Complementary Knowledge in Natural Sciences”; etc.

The courses have to be fixed and confirmed in a Learning Agreement (fact sheet and template available).
