Sanjay is the man behind MediaGuru. He started his career with print media and

worked with leading Hindi daily newspapers in India. It was a time when electronic

med ia had entered the Indian terrain. He w as a pa rt of the growth a nd launc h of

Ind ia s first 24*7 priva te TV new s c hanne l, Aa j Tak. Sanjay has worked as a rep orte r,

producer and finally graduated to a news presenter of the daily show which had

seve ra l million view ers. He w as one of the young est peop le w ho m ade to Senior

Ed itoria l Ma nagem ent team in Ind ia. He a lso served as Joint Chief Exec utive Officer

of a duo of te levision sta tions.

Sanjay found ed Med iaguru in 2003. With his eve r grow ing expe rience in med ia , he

led Mediaguru Consultants to set up and launch a 24*7 national news & current

a ffa irs c hannel, Cha nnel 7 for Ind ia s no. 1 Hind i da ily Da inik Jagran. It is now known

as IBN 7 and is a part o f the TV18 CNBC group . With this beg an a new series of TV

sta tion launc hes from Ma norama New s in south India to Express TV in Lahore which

is Pakista n s p riva te 24*7 news c ha nne l.

Sanjay is one of the few peop le in Indian m ed ia who bring to the tab le such a

varied and in-depth understanding of content, technology and business of cross

me d ia . He has trave led imm ensely ac ross a ll co ntinents and is we ll versed with the

la test trends and upd ates in med ia related to tec hnology, business and op erations.

Ajay UpadhyayDirector

Ajay Upadhyay is a nam e to rec kon with in the Indian med ia . It stands for over 25

yea rs of expe rience a c ross p rint & te levision. An engineer by ed uc a tion, a journa list

by profession and a thought leader by attitude! Presently he is working with

Med iag uru in the c ap ac ity of a Direc tor.

He started his media career as an Assistant Editor with Dainik Aaj & then served asthe Co -ordinat ing Editor Sunday Ob server. There w as no stopp ing therea fter and

he worked with leading print dailies like Dainik Jagran, Navbharat and as Group

Ed itor of Hindusta n. The Mumb a i ed ition of Navbha ra t wa s launc hed under his

supervision.

In the television media he worked for Aajtak as a special correspondent and later

as an Exec utive Prod ucer. He w as a lso p art o f the fo unding te am of na tiona l news

& current a ffa irs c hannel from Ind ia Cha nnel 7 (Now IBN7). Therea fter he went

onto build and estab lish, Jagran Institute of Manag ement & Ma ss Comm unic a tion a p rem ier institute in India.

He is one of the few peop le in the industry who have a n in-dep th understand ing o n

all facets of media and a keen insight of the emerging trends. Research and

Richard started off as a print person graduating through the ranks of television

Aida SantoryLead Traine r

Aida has worked with networks across the world as a lead trainer in India,

Pakistan, Japan, Malaysia, besides other countries. Earlier Aida worked as an

Executive Producer with CNN, Espanuel, and earlier involving stints at CNN Plus,

CNN Turk and Ista nb ul.

Aida roams the world providing training to new recruits. Her core area of expertise

involves new s prod uc tion and assignment d esk func tioning. She a lso a ssoc ia tes

Richa rd a s a launc h co nsulta nt and new rec ruits trainer. Tog ether they introduc ed

in India the structured approach of newsroom functioning with the launch of Aaj

Narendra Pal Singh more popularly known as NP in the media circles started his

caree r with p rint as a journa list with Amar Ujala. It was time w hen b roa dc asting was

taking a giant leap with the advent o f priva te p layers. NP thereafte r, joined Aa jtak

and w orked c losely with the launch and g row th of Aa jtak from a news c apsule to a

full fled ged 24 hour new s c hannel.

He was responsible for all sports related newsgathering, reporting and production.In a dd ition to tha t he a lso worked on various other bea ts likes politics, huma n stories

to LIVE war and natural calamity reporting. Post this he launched another national

Hindi news c hannel NDTV Ind ia , a na me and b rand to rec kon with. He w orked here

in the c apac ity of a Sr. Ed itor.

At Mediaguru he heads the web team and consults our clients on all content

related projects. He is also closely associated with the day to day functioning of all

Mediaguru websites.

Raja ram an, a true Hyderab adi has an und ying passion fo r sports! With over 25 years

of experience in the world of sports, he has worked across all media from print to

television to rad io b oth in the na tiona l and international arena .

He is a known face on the expert panel of many broadcasters. He is a highly

regarded expert in the sports fraternity. From Olympics to Cricket World Cup to

Asian Ga me s, he ha s been there and lived them a ll.
