Measuring Wider Impact

• The ‘Wider Impact’ of what we do is becoming increasingly significant for how our success is measured for the future.

• We are trying to get ahead, by developing methods to capture some of the impact that your teaching has on your Learners' wider lives outside of the classroom.

Recording Impact on the registerYou already help us track learners by completing columns A & B on the register (for ‘Achievement’ and ‘Progression’).

From September, the register will have extra columns capture the Wider Impact the course has had on the Learners.

How to complete the columns

• Your learners will tell you this info on their Tracker at the end of the course• You will need just need to transfer the codes to columns 1-6 on the register

at the end of your course.

• This information will help us to demonstrate the difference we make to a range of national authorities. Thank you in advance for your help with it.
