The newMEALUXIT Frame Window System
The right choice At a time of rising land prices, increased building costs and tight budgets, there is a growing need to build economically and to put every room in the house to the best possible use. There is also a notable trend for building insulated basements and for using the most cost-efficient construction methods.
Today’s basements can be used flexibly and – if necessary – can be converted at a later time. The spectrum can range from a classical cellar storeroom to a hobby room or finished living space.
With its new and innovative frame window system, MEA Building Systems now offers you an attractive ready-to-install solution: The MEALUXIT family of products is showcased with frames made of light, fibreglass reinforced plastic and fitted window inserts. In addition to enabling rapid, uncomplicated mounting, they are designed for simple installation of the windows.
The wide selection of inserts provides a broad range of possible uses for all applications. These technical advantages are rounded out by their aesthetic style and the attractive price performance relationship.

Suitable forall requirements
For simple and efficient construction The use of prefabricated frames greatly reduces the need for framing, which means significant savings in labour time. Since the frames remain in the wall (stay-in-place formwork), there is no need for frame removal and finish work on the reveals. Frame windows also offer the advantage over conventional windows that it is unnecessary to build a window frame or to manually prepare unfinished framing wood. So the construction process is simple and efficient.
The new MEALUXIT Frame Window System forms an optimal connection between the exterior wall and the window. It is no longer necessary to match differences in size between the window and the reveal.
Innovation and AestheticsThe new MEALUXIT Frame Window System can create the desired cosy atmosphere in side rooms and basement rooms: by means of its innovative construction, the frames can be adapted after creation of the living space design. Thus, subsequent plastering, wallpapering or the construction of a windowsill pose no problem. And the modern design (5-chamber Softline design) of the tilt and turn comfort window inserts completes a perfect look.
Ideal in Combination with Matching Light WellsIn combination with the MEAMAX light well system, MEALUXIT offers the optimal all-in-one solution. The frame sizes are matched to the standard widths of the light wells and offer the perfect combination for better basement illumination. Well thought out and innovative product design as well as simple and flexible handling offer an optimal symbiosis for the individual basement.

MEALUXIT Changeable Frames
Clever with SystemDesigning the frames with a narrow edge on the frame surface greatly simplifies their use with in-situ concrete and prefabricated components. The frames can be installed in either concrete or masonry construction.
The white, fibreglass-reinforced plastic (GFK) used for the frames is a light, weatherproof and robust material. This permits low weight and easy processing. For decades, it has been a tried and tested material and has significant advantages for this application over other plastic materials. The surface is robust, and thereby especially well suited for installation in the framing phase of construction, but can be processed further if necessary, for example through the application of plaster.
For additional ease of installation, the frames are fitted with wooden supporting frames and perforated metal plates for attachment to the frame. In addition, the wide range of different sizes, wall thicknesses and diverse window styles offer flexible and customized applications. Making a mistake when installing the frames is almost impossible due to their error-forgiving design. They make building fun!

Accessories: Perimeter Masking Frames,Perforated Grilles and Shutters
Perimeter Masking FramesFor tight construction schedules when building new homes, the MEALUXIT System also offers a simple solution for this stage of the work: through one-piece perimeter masking frames, it is possible to avoid subsequent time and cost-intensive plastering of the window reveal in the light well.
Instead, the frame can be glued into in the external reveal. In this way, the reveal area of the window attachment up to the outer edge of the perimeter masking frame is covered, creating a uniform, smooth and easily maintained surface.
• Adapted for frame wall widths of 19 – 39.5 cm• Available in the following thickness: 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 200 mm• Colour similar to trade white (RAL 9016)• Made of PVC• Mounting glue available in white Gluing on the perimeter masking frame should be completed before mounting the light wells.
Perforated grillesThe perforated grilles serve to round out the MEALUXIT product programme. They offer efficient protection from mice and other small creatures. The grilles are available with square hole and may be easily installed without any tools in all MEALUXIT window installations.
• Available for all Tilt-Turn and Tilt-Wing window inserts • Galvanized or powder-coated (trade white RAL 9016)• With 10 mm square holes

The ift report confirms:No condensation is formed at the window connection point, even in these extreme marginal conditions.
Physicalproperties
The Blower Door procedure is used when the air permeability of building shells is to be measured and tested. For this, the entire building is subjected to a compressed air test on the one hand to determine the air exchange rate and on the other hand to detect any existing leakages. Possible damage and leaky components can be localised by this method.
MEALUXIT cases and Tilt/Turn window inserts make an important contribution to air tightness of buildings and thus also to the reduction of heating energy consumption and the minimisation of draughts. They fulfil the requirements of EnEV (German Energy Conservation Regulations).
