Songs to Listen To

By Mara Mihailoff Did you know dogs dream when they sleep? When they twitch in there sleep it's a sign there dreaming, dream on dogs. I have always won-dered if dogs can only see black and white, but they can actually see blue, greenish yellow, and varieties of green & gray. There are over 150 dog breeds. According to a survey the most dog popular dog names are Maggie, Molly, Sam and Zach. I wonder what a group of dogs are called, but did you know a group of Pugs are called a “Grumble.” Also dogs can smell about one thousand times better than humans. Humans have 5 million smelling cells and dogs have over 220 million smell

cells. Wow what an impressing com-petitor. But let's not forget cats. Cats are the most popular pet in the United States; there are about 88 million pet cats. Did you know that there is a cat that is mayor of Talk-eetna, Alaska and one ran for Mexico in 2013. Probably because a cat’s brain is 90% more alike to human than it’s competitor the dog. Cats are very smart and intel-ligent. They have almost identically the same part of the brain with emotion with humans. Owning a cat can also re-duce heart attack or stroke by 1/3. Did you know Abraham Lincoln had four cats? Wow cats are really impressive, so vote on which one is your favorite a cat or a dog.
