This Week (3/28/11 – 4/1/11)
• Preliminary reports
– Have until Friday (4/1/11) at 12:00 noon
– Not graded
– Feedback for final report
• Qualifying round competition
– Determine seeding for final competition
– Pick team names!!!

Next Week (4/4/11 – 4/8/11)
• Open lab instead of studio
– Scheduled lab section gets priority
• Friday, April 8th: FacelessBook Competition
– MaRC atrium by 4:30pm
– Judging starts at 5:00pm
– Contest begins at 6:15pm
– Invite friends and family!

• No more than 10 pages of text
• Include Table of Contents
• Include Bill of Materials
• Use feedback from previous reports

• Engineering challenges
– NOT the same as engineering constraints
– NOT the same as the contest tasks
• Avoid “throwing-in” design/planning tools that do not help with your explanation
• Results section
– Include numerical results
– Explain how design could have been improved
