The following information is being provided by Vision McMillan Partners (V MP ) to illustrate the design intentionsfor the second set of new buildings proposed for the McMillan Sand Filtration Site. We respectfully request apresentation before the Historic Preservation Review Board (H PRB ) on June 28, 2013.
Please find the enclosed images depicting the proposed architectural concepts for JAIR LYNCH Development PartnersGrocery & Multifamily building and the Public Park and Community Center components of VMPs plans to redevelop
the McMillan Sand Filtration Site. These concepts accompany the concept applications submitted on April 26, 2013for EYAs Row Houses and TCCs Medical Office Buildings.
We presented all four building concepts at a widely publicized community open house on April 27, 2013 from 12noon to 2 pm at St. Georges Episcopal Church, 160 U Street NW a date, time and location chosen by thecommissioners of 5E, in whose ANC the Sand Filtration Site is located.
We have distributed the building illustrations to ANCs 5E, 5A and 1B requesting the opportunity to present at their June meetings.
Please let us know if we may present all four concept applications at the hearing on June 28, 2013 with anyadjustments we may make following community input.
