Emma James - Head of Support Services and Business
Operations
By day Emma is Head of Support Services and Business
Operations. Emma joined McGoff Construction in 2008.
Over the last 9 years Emma has been at the forefront of
the Group’s strategy to streamline processes and
improve business practices. As Head of Support Services
and Business Operations Emma manages a team that
provides holistic Operational Compliance, Business
Operations, Human Resources, Recruitment and Supply
Chain Management expertise as the Group expands its
unique service offering. Emma is also an active member
of the Chartered Management Institute.
By night, Emma is a devoted Mum and spends her
spare time at various parks, farms zoos and soft play
centres. Emma’s hobbies include painting, jigsaws, play
-doh modelling and making dens.
Sarah Sanderson - Sales & Marketing Manager
By day Sarah is Sales & Marketing Manager for the
McGoff Group. Sarah joined the business in 2012 and for
the past 6 years has worked closely with the Directors
and Senior Management team to diversify, expand the
business portfolio and strengthen further the company’s
existing client base.
Sarah’s diverse role includes bid writing and
coordination, marketing, website management, Client &
Community liaison and business branding for McGoff
Construction and the associated operating companies
across the Group.
By night Sarah enjoys being out and about in her
campervan with her hubby, walking, browsing antique
shops and all things 1940’s.
Megan Emerson - Facilities Co-ordinator
By day Megan is Facilities Co-ordinator for McGoff
Group Facilities Services Ltd.
Megan joined the company in 2015 as Junior Admin
Assistant and is now working within the Aftercare team.
Supporting the Aftercare Manager, Megan takes care
of all defects reported within the 6/12months warranty
periods following the practical completion of McGoff
Construction’s sites. Along with keeping everyone
updated, and keeping a tracker of all defects, Megan
manages the account for any addition works requested
from maintaining healthy client relationships.
By night, Megan enjoys eating vast portions of food,
shopping, exploring new cities, and generally being a
social butterfly.

Shannon Griffin - Subcontracts Administrator
By day Shannon joined the accounts team in January
and is currently learning the ropes in her new role.
Shannon deals with all invoices/queries from
subcontractors and raises payments, assists Lesley-Ann
with all MGFS purchase ledger invoices and goods
receipt notes. Shannon can’t wait to develop in this job
as much as she can.
By night Shannon spends time doing DIY in her first
house that she is renovating, sees her horses and gets
on as many planes as she can to see the world!
Rachael Horrocks - Purchase Ledger
By day Rachael joined the McGoff group in August 2017
to be part of the purchase ledger team and she has
never looked back. Rachael looks after a share of the
ledger alongside the lovely Colin, expenses and some
additional roles within.
By night Rachael enjoys being at home doing DIY in the
winter months and enjoying the garden in the summer
with my husband, teenage daughter, dog and Rabbit
who are all spoilt.
Julie Bindon – Buyer and Supply Chain Coordinator
By day Julie is a Buyer for Mcgoff Construction. Julie has
worked for McGoff Construction since 2016 as a buyer
working with the site teams purchasing building Materials
for all McGoff Construction sites, making sure they are
sourced correctly and on time. Julie also works with
Supply chain meeting with suppliers setting up group
deals.
By night Julie has recently become a mum so spends her
time with her family going for walks and trying to catch
up on sleep!
Emma Tweed - Site Administrator
By day Emma works at our Downtown Project in Salford
as the Site Administrator working alongside the Site and
Project Managers, Site Engineers, Design Manager,
QS’s, Commercial and Construction Manager who are
all site based and make up the force that is Downtown.
As well as being responsible for general admin such as
purchase orders, sub-contractor orders, filing, monthly
and client reports, completing inductions on our
biometric system, Asite, any and all meetings, she is first
point of contact for visitors to site and also work closely
with the sub-contractors who are on site. This month
also marks Emma’s first anniversary with McGoff.
By night Emma is a dedicated “fur mum” of two mad
hounds. She enjoys going to the gym and dance
classes and teaches tap every week.Most weekends
are taken up at the shooting range with her brothers.
Sarah Henry – Business Administration Manager
By day Sarah is Business Administration Manager. Sarah
joined McGoff Construction in 2016 to support Emma
James with the management of ISO 9001, 14001 and
18001, ongoing compliance and the production of
KPI’s for the Group, in addition to the Operational
Support to the Ops Directors and Managers. Sarah’s
varied role includes the day to day queries and tasks
under the Administration banner, Compliance, Health
& Safety and Staff Engagement.
By night Sarah is a Netflix junkie with an addiction to
online shopping and enjoys a glass or two of wine. Nap
Queen since 1995.
Louise Pourbaix - Corporate Finance Manager
By Day Louise is Corporate Finance Manager. Louise
joined the McGoff Group in 2015 to support Dave Foran
source finance for the development projects of this ever
growing business. Louise has been focussing on pulling
together financial models and forecast for the group as
well as managing the accounts for the Group's first
residential development, Downtown Manchester. Louise
will very shortly also be responsible for the financial
reporting of the McGoff Group.
By Night Louise currently spends most of her time
studying to become a chartered certified accountant
as well as playing volleyball, traveling and hanging out
with friends. Mostly though Louise enjoys all French
things like eating cheese and drinking wine.
Annie Stackhouse – Account Manager
By day Annie is an Account Manager for McGoff Group
Facilities Services. Annie has worked for MGFS since 2014
and serves as the primary point of contact between the
customers and the company. Annie is responsible for
building and maintaining client relationships which
involves working closely with the helpdesk to provide
them with support when required, conducting business
reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their services
and letting customers know about other products the
company offers.
By night Annie is often mistaken for a professional racing
driver with her excellent driving skills but when she isn’t in
her car pretending she is a boy racer she can normally
be found either in a Chinese Karaoke Bar singing
Whitney or in a salubrious local establishment enjoying a
glass of prosecco with friends.
Rachael Hampson - Recruitment Administrator
By day Rachael is Group Recruitment Administrator.
Rachael joined McGoff Construction in May 2017 on a
temporary basis, to assist with the fast paced New Care
recruitment. Part way into the contract Rachael was
asked to become a permanent member of the team
and took on additional recruitment duties across the
Group. Along with daily Administration tasks and politely
handling 1million+ agency calls; Rachael lists vacancies,
manages candidate applications, coordinates
interviews, prepares relevant documents/equipment for
new starters and monitors employee progress, until the
3month probation period.
By night, Rachael enjoys hunting for vintage treasures,
getting out into the countryside with Dottie the
American Bulldog, tree hugging and hanging out with
The Original Gangsters AKA, The Chuckle Brothers…
Jessica Backhouse – Trainee Buyer
By day Jessica started at Mcgoff Group in June 2017 as
a Procurement Administrator with no administrative or
construction experience. After excelling in her own
expectations and capabilities in this area of work,
Jessica gained her first promotion to Trainee buyer in
March 2018. Currently Jessica deals with all procurement
across McGoff Construction and MGFS, whether it be
doors, toilet rolls, hiring of equipment or bricks! She has
also built the procurement of New Care Corporate onto
a level of comparison with McGoff Construction.
By night Jessica still keeps her hands dirty in the beauty
background she came from as well as renovating her
first home, wedding planning, taking Mico her Serbian
Defence Dog for walks.

Lauren Rowe - Group HR Co-Ordinator
By Day Lauren started with McGoff’s in September 2014
as a Commercial Administrator and was taken under the
wing of the Group HR Manager in January 2016 when
she transitioned into the HR Department. Lauren co-
ordinates all aspects of the day to day operational tasks
in HR including training, case management and more.
Lauren is also soon to be a mentor to our new HR
Administrator which she is really looking forward to.
By night Lauren is a keen baker, much to the delight of
her fellow colleagues, and has just finished her first full
house renovation project with her partner which is due
to go on the market next week!
Laura Welsh – Accounts Assistant
By day Laura is as an accounts assistant for Newcare
and Back To The Garden Childcare. Some of her
responsibilities include posting bank transactions, bank
reconciliations, sales invoicing, debtor reporting whilst
assisting with month end accounts. All this being
completed alongside further accounting qualifications
to develop her skills and knowledge to help her progress
in the business.
By Night, when she isn’t studying, Laura is a self-
confessed Disney Junkie who is often hooked on
watching crime series before being tucked up in bed to
hit the gym early hours of the morning so she can
indulge in excessive amounts of food when she goes out
for an evening meal with friends.
Yvonne Howarth - Front of House and Ops Co-ordinator
By day Yvonne joined McGoff and Byrne Ltd in
September 2002 after a terribly disturbing incident at her
previous job as Post Mistress, when an armed gang
robbed the post office; she joined McGoff for a safer
occupation..Yvonne started at working for Jim and
Ethna McGoff as Receptionist then doing the secretarial
work all other aspect of the business when moving to
Mayfield House, Broadheath. Yvonne also supports
James McGoff as PA and carried on her reception
duties.
By Night Yvonne enjoys reading, listening to music,
enjoying a night out at bingo also she enjoys being with
her very close family.
Kay Johnson - Project Manager
By day Kay has taken on the role of Project Manager for
the McGoff Group working on our exciting new Market
41 and Back to the Garden concepts.
From an operational perspective, Kay will be supporting
the client team with developing a sustainable concept
that functions seamlessly; handling enquiries from
possible operators to assisting the team with recruitment
requirements, supply chain selection, community
partnerships and other value adding activities.
By night Kay’s spare time is taken up with new puppy
Fred, new house & new job, walking, decorating,
gardening and her passion for food & wine.
Rebecca Booth - Senior Business Administrator
By day, Rebecca is Senior Business Administrator for Main
Contracting. Rebecca joined McGoff Construction in
May 2017 to provide commercial support to the
Quantity Surveyors by managing the contract
documentation and issuing of subcontractor orders in
addition to arranging hotel and travel, raising purchase
orders and compiling O&M manuals ready for practical
completion. Since Rebecca’s arrival she has assumed
additional responsibilities including Document Control
and Executive travel.
By night, Rebecca enjoys spending time with family and
friends, taking her dog for walks and going to nice
country pubs for lunch. Currently Rebecca is finishing off
renovating her first house and planning her wedding for
2019!

Emma Cliffe – Accounts Manager
By day Emma joined the McGoff Team in June 2013
working on Purchase Ledger after a long background of
working in Finance in the Construction sector. Since then
Emma has turned her hand to many areas of the
accounts department, has managed the Purchase
Ledger function and helped oversee the incorporation
of MGFS and Newcare into the Group Purchase Ledger
and Procurement functions. She has also recently been
promoted to Accounts Manager looking at the cashflow
of the business and managing the Accounts Team.
By night Emma is a frazzled single parent to a 7 year old
comedy genius, her hobbies include Nerf wars, playing
remote control cars and sitting on the M60 for long
periods of time.

Andrea Oakley - Sales Invoice Administrator
By day Andrea is Sales Invoice Administrator for
MGFS. Andrea joined Villafont in September 2007 as a
BD Administrator after a career break to have her 2
daughters. She moved over to MCL after 2 years
carrying out many varied Admin based tasks. Andrea
joined the MGFS team in June 2016 to look after the
Sales Invoicing 15 hours a month which has now
increased to 2 days a week supporting the Accounts
team.
By night Andrea is Mum to Georgia (17) and Olivia (15)
and wife to Gary. As a family they love films, travel and
all have a passion for cars. Andrea sings at home, in
the car, in the supermarket, basically anywhere!! And is
known to dance too!!
Beverley Swindells - Purchase Ledger Admin
By day Beverley Joined McGoff’s in December 2012 in
the purchase ledger department, processing incoming
invoices and last year she moved over to process the
invoices for New Care.
By night Beverley has a competitive streak and won a
free week at Pontins, by winning a Donkey Derby
Race! During her school years Bev competed in the
cross country team and got through to the nationals,
then later joined the East Cheshire Harriers. In her spare
time Bev still enjoys running, cycling, walking, silly salsa
dancing – with my 2 left feet and no rhythm!
June Dean - Helpdesk Supervisor
By day June is a helpdesk Supervisor for MGFS.
June joined the McGoff Group in December 2014 as a
helpdesk assistant dealing with the day to day issues
raised by clients to ensure we meet SLAs for Reactive,
planned and quoted works. June also liaises with
subcontractors on a daily basis and approves
subcontractor invoices for payment. The client base has
grown over the last 3 years and June became helpdesk
supervisor in April 2017.
By Night June enjoys going to the gym and going to
Derby to see the family. When possible she also enjoys
flying off the sun to see friends and getting a tan.
Stephanie Macfarlane - Group Financial Controller
By day Steph has worked for McGoff Construction for 13
years. Steph is responsible for the operational delivery of
the group finance function. This involves accurate
recording of financial transactions, forecast, budgeting
and cash flow management. Steph works with a great
team of girls and boys, its hard work but they have a lot
of fun too.
The company has experienced significant growth over
the years and Steph says it has been fantastic to have
been here and play an integral role in the growth of the
company.
By night Steph is studying for a Masters in International
Accounting & Finance (not everyone's idea of a leisure
activity). But she also makes sure she has time to relax
with her family; who like long haul holidays to sunny
destinations, movies and dining out at restaurants.
Laura Cullen – Group Recruitment Manager
By day Laura is the Recruitment Manager across the
McGoff Group. Laura joined McGoff in 2016 to build and
grow an in-house recruitment function following a busy
year in recruitment and external agency supply. Over
the past 18 months the function has evolved somewhat,
a system has been implemented and national
advertising campaigns are in place. Laura now oversees
a team of three who are responsible for delivering an
internal recruitment service across the group, this
includes McGoff, MGFS, Newcare and more recently
Back to the Garden.
By night Laura is an avid gym goer and likes to lift
weights (she may look like a dweeb but looks can be
deceiving). When not in the gym she can be found
round at her friends or in a bar enjoying a nice glass of
red! Laura loves to travel and has 3 trips planned so far,
but is also working hard to save money to buy her own
house this year!
Lesley-Ann Winn – Purchase Ledger Accounts Supervisor
By day Lesley-Ann came to McGoff Construction as a
temporary Accounts administrator in August 2016 after
working in finance for Stobart Rail. Lesley-Ann then
officially joined McGoff in October 2016. Lesley –Ann
looked after the MGFS purchase ledger up until recently
receiving a promotion to Purchase Ledger Accounts
Supervisor.
By night Lesley-Ann likes to go to cause herself great
pain in the gym, spend time with friends and family, and
dine out in nice restaurants.
