While in the process of installing McAfee on Mac OS X, if "'McAfee Install' is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash" is shown, please follow through this guide.

McAfee for Mac Install - Gatekeeper Workaround

1. Open System Preferences.

2. Open Security & Privacy.

3. Click on the lock icon at bottom left corner.

4. Enter your credentials for your computer.

5. Select "Anywhere"

6. Select "Allow From Anywhere"

7. You are able to install McAfee now. Please revert your settings back to "Mac App Store and

identified developers" after you have successfully installed McAfee.
