About the Park Improvement Project Elk Run Heights and Evansdale residents are working to make park improvements to Mayors Park and Bunger Park in Black Hawk County. This three- phase project is set to include new construcon of an enclosed off-leash dog park, an 18-hole disc golf course, and a veterans memorial. The completed park project would benefit the communies of Dewar, Elk Run Heights, Evansdale, Gilbertville, Raymond, Waterloo, and other surrounding communies. The cost for these improvements will be paid for by grants and private donaons.
