2 June 1: Final International Convention Money ($500) Due!

The Kiwanis

There are a lot of Key Clubbers that are seniors this year and they are going to graduate soon. Meaning that this is their final year of Key Club. Even though this is truly a sad thing to think about because Key Club has been the foundation of great friendships and memories, but do not get too sad because the fun does not have to stop here! Luckily as Key Clubbers we are a part of a large Kiwanis Family which after Key Club includes Circle K International and Kiwanis. Circle K is just a college version of Key Club! You can still serve your community and you will still be able to attend District Convention and International Convention. But for those of you that do not have college in mind or for other reasons cannot be a part of CKI you can always join the Kiwanis Clubs that have supported your amazing Key Club year. You have two very wonderful choices, but which ever club you decide to join I strongly encourage you to keep serving because as you know it is such an amazing thing for you and your community!

Our first Divisional Council Meeting! This is a meeting in which all of the club officers from the entire Division come together and get ideas for service projects, gain leadership skills, learn about the District project, get information on the Major Emphasis Projects and make some awesome everlasting friendships with people from seven other schools. The meeting will be held Thursday May 26th at the Timberland Regional Library in Downtown Olympia. Please let other officers in your club know about this because although most of you have sent me your contact information it would be helpful for you all to make sure that all of your club officers are aware of this meeting because it would be really unfortunate for them to miss it just because they were not informed. But if an officer is not able to come for any other reason please let me know! It is extremely important that you all attend but it will be helpful to know if anyone cannot make it.

Riddles! I am the black child of a white father, a wingless bird, flying even to the clouds of heaven. I give birth to tears of mourning in pupils that meet me, even though there is no cause for grief, and at once on my birth I am dissolved into air. What am I?
