EditorialDear Readers,Assalamo Alaikum. As you read this editorial one year is rapidly coming to an end while a new one is just about to get under way.As in any year, 2012 will have its share of highlights and lowlights, break-ups and make-ups, of winners and losers, of good times and bad times and everything in between.

Man’s pride can be his self downfall, and the many activities around the world will always be a reminder that nothing, absolutely nothing, ever made by humans is more powerful than nature and the eternal power. Look for the Arab Spring to continue in 2012 in the Middle East and possibly in other parts of the world. There may be no stopping these tsunamis of protest and change now as people around the world are connected via the social media systems.

It’s an opportunity for fresh starts that can include many things — leaving grievances or grudges behind, starting new friendships or building better relationships, losing weight at the gym or, fixing something about oneself that’s been troubling or just becoming a better person all around. Perhaps you’ve wanted to volunteer with a charity but haven’t. Do it! I have been associated with you for the last few months but one important thing is always bothering me how are we serving you through Bihar Anjuman and its newsletter BaKhabar, we have continuously striving towards achieving a target to provide you a service through our network and its newsletter, All what we wanted to have your opinion about our work, our efforts it would not be wrong to say I have a desire to see your comments, your valuable opinion about our work and how we can improve ourselves, please do share your thoughts about us, please do help us by giving us your suggestion, your blessings…..please do so…Have you ever just wanted to start over? If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed or like you just wanted another chance, consider the New Year a clean slate.Start fresh, start clean and forget about anything weighing you down previously.

Maybe your home is cluttered or messy and you don’t know where to begin.Start small and start fresh.Start from now — the New Year — make lists and one at a time complete them. You will feel good each time you do.

Consider the New Year a new opportunity. Do something you’ve wanted to do but have been putting off. Cross it off your list and then do something else. Enjoy your New Year’s celebrations and have a great 2012.SincerelyJamaliOn behalf of BaKhabar editorial team

Get-Together in "DUNES International School, Al Khobar" for a "NOBLE CAUSE", on Thursday, 12thJanuary 2012

Nahmaduhoo wa Nusalli ‘Ala Rasoolihil Kareem Fa ‘Aaoodhubillahi Minash Shaitanirrajeem Bismillahir Rahman Ar Raheem

Rasheeda, a house-maid, sends her child, Abdul, to a nearby dhaba as early as five in the morning when the Muazzin calls for Fajr prayer, only to return by late night. Abdul and Muslim are kids alike who have lost all rights as a human beings, and live a life of utter slavery, deprived of basic needs, proper food, remain malnourished, and under these circumstances, education can never be their priority. Indian Muslims are a victim of neglect and deprivation, not just by the state, but by their own affluent brothers who are least bothered to come out of their cosy blankets.

Bihar Anjuman’s Dammam-Khobar Chapter has pledged, in this scenario, to proactively make things happen by reaching out to people whose hearts still beat for the Ummah, and by inspiring others in our effort to help our less fortunate brothers in faith. Allah (swt) calls us to spend in His way, that of the needy, for they have a share in our income and spending on them is an obligation(Fardh) upon us. The latest project, AMBITION 2020, that Bihar Anjuman’s Dammam-Khobar Chapter has undertaken aims to adopt a child from such sections of our society that live in abject poverty and are willing but incapable to educate their children. It is projected to cover the entire expenses of a total of 200 children from Grade Five (5) till they complete their Senior Secondary Schooling with new batches enrolling every year [numbers would start at 200 and add 200 every year, reaching its final level of 1,200 beneficiaries in 6 years]. To achieve the goal, it is planned to organise a ‘Dine to Donate’ Benefit Dinner programme so that funds could be raised through a mass gathering of our brothers who are ready to come forward and take steps to reform our society rather than blame the status quo on the government. It is requested to all to lend their time for this noble cause and help this fundraising by calling people to join in our mission to become an empowered community and be the torch-bearers in shaping our destinies and that of the Ummah. We invite all our brothers to co- sponsor the event through advertisement banners and hoardings of their respective businesses and companies. Act we must for we know not the time when we are no more and certainly we shall be responsible of our brothers in front of the All-Knowing and Al-Mighty Allah. Hope to join you in the cause and together shall we share the dream of a future where our kids assume leadership and take charge of the system.

A Monarch of long ago had twin sons. As they grew to young manhood, the king sought a fair way to designate one of them as crown prince. All who knew the young men thought them equal in intelligence, wit, personal charm, health, and physical strength. Being a keenly observant king, he thought he detected a trait in one which was not shared by the other.

Calling them to his council chamber one day, he said, "My sons, the day will come when one of you must succeed me as king. The weight of sovereignty is very heavy. To find out which of you is better able to bear them cheerfully, I am sending you together to a far corner of the kingdom. One of my advisors there will place equal burdens on your shoulders. My crown will one day go to the one who first returns bearing his yoke like a king should.”

In a spirit of friendly competition, the brothers set out together. Soon they overtook an aged woman struggling under a burden that seemed far too heavy for her frail body. One of the boys suggested that they stop to help her. The other protested: "We have a saddle of our own to worry about. Let us be on our way.”

The objector hurried on while the other stayed behind to give aid to the aged woman. Along the road, from day to day, he found others who also needed help. A blind man took him miles out of his way, and a lame man slowed him to a cripple's walk.

Eventually he did reach his father's advisor, where he secured his own yoke and started home with it safely on his shoulders. When he arrived at the palace, his brother met him at the gate, and greeted him with dismay.

He said, "I don't understand. I told our father the weight was too heavy to carry. However did you do it?"The future king replied thoughtfully, "I suppose when I helped others carry their yoke, I found the strength to carry my own."Nisreen Dr. Sk. Now it is time to diversify the activities of Bihar Anjuman in some other neededfields to serve the communities. No doubt that with the coming of modern education among the Muslims of Bihar made them more active and in a position to play dominant role in the development of the state and community. This certainly will provoke the unexpected reaction from the traditional power holder of Bihar. And they will try to halt the march of the Muslims of Bihar. They will use different tactics to derail the advancement of the Muslims of Bihar in education, politics, and economy. So, to strengthen the line of March and to serve the people of the nation, the role of Bihar Anjuman has to be enlarged. The area in which Bihar Anjuman should work now is Education,Legal law and Social awakening against social evils. These could be achieved by formulating programmes, policies and establishment of council or bodies to look these matters in practical on wider scale. These bodies may be like

The council should be comprised on the

educational expert of different field of education. There should be 20 members of the council. The meeting of the council should be twice in the year. The function of this advisory council should be to assist in the development of the schools among the community.Any group from the community which wants to establish schools for the community would get free expert advice on the every aspect of school like administration, grants etc.The council should guide the people in every aspect of school education.

For awareness about the education among the people, the council shouldorganize the conference,Talimi Caravan,Seminars,Educational AwarenessWeek in the various districts of Bihar with the help of local running chapter/coaching centers of the Anjuman. The people who would support this council should be the students and the teachers ofthe various institutions and are ready to volunteer themselves for the cause of the state and community.

This council should comprise on the legal expert of the law

.There should be30 members in this council. Ten (10) members should be retired and restshould be in working if possible in which five should be women. The purpose of this council should be to look after all the matter related to cases of terrorism only. The council would assist the state and victim to find out the culprit and dispense justice. This council should investigate the cases of terrorism and follow legal battle on the behalf of the people. The organization should also look after the rehabilitations of victims of terrorism with the help of the society and government.

There should be 4 meetings of this organization every year. The people who would assist this council should be practicing lawyers, teachers of legal law,Media persons, students Union, Women Organizations etc.The council should organize awareness programme regarding the law procedure of the nation, nature of different crimes, terrorism and working of different anti terrorism organizations.

This group should be comprise on 20 members .At least 5

members should be women and three Ulemas/Mufti.The yearly meeting of this organization should be twice in year. The targeted social evils should be Dowry,Child labor,Domestic Violence, Divorce and marriage ceremony. The council shouldlaunch programme about the awareness against these social evils by organizing seminars, social gathering and people to people contact on village level. The anti social evils Caravan comprising students, teachers, social activist, media person and women organization. This caravan should be in touch of every local chapters of Anjuman. All those people who wish to join these organizations should be allow to work .There should be members directory maintained by the council with name, address and contact numbers.About the funds to start these organizations, every chapter organize a Donation Party on a cup of tea. While a mass appeal should be sent through news paper to the people on the challenging issues face by the community through mass media. This may be a small beginning but is urgent need of time as we are seeing the knocking on the door by unseen enemies in form declaring north Indian area and Muslims as emerging hub of terrorist organizations (see reports of various newspapers).

No doubt after spending a lot of efforts, money & time for getting a again earned some money to buy the luxurious gadgets of his time. Bachelor Degree, everyone wants to earn money to compensate After two years he earned almost 7200 euro with an European master these entire prime factors. But it’s time to think widely comparing our degree. He went back to his country and found a job where he dream job, the money we can earn, the area of our interest, the appointed as an assistant of Taha. But he was happy and even Taha saturation time of our life span & off course further opportunity to was also happy to be Heta’s boss. But due an international exposure study a bit more to add a feather in our cap. We have to spend our both were earning same at that time. time to think & realize about our long term goals with comparing the every aspects of our professional carrier. After spending few years when both reached at the age of 35, they

got a chance for promotion as the project manager. Although Taha Lets start with simple factors, after getting a degree from an was having more experience than Heta, but Company choosed Heta university, our prime target is to earn money. But we used to forget due to the the better understanding of subject which he learnt due to that we are in the era of competition. Every day we need some his master. Taha felt that his life saturated at that post and with the updates to make us alive in this competitive age. If we simply fail to salary. Now it was the time to take the advantage to earn a lot and grab an opportunity in our campus selection (where we get a god move a bit more than his friend for Heta just because he thought for a salary) the life becomes tough after the left turn outside our long run and spent some more time on further studies.campuses.

So after our graduation if one is earning 25,000 per month then it’s Now this time is the time where we should sit alone and think about better to think and search for some funded master program which our prime targets or such called the priorities of our life. We should only needs your hard work on documentation. Although you can’t compare different opportunities in wide area of our related earn that much but if one can save money from his scholarship then education. My ancestor used to tell “Padhai Kabhi Bekar Nai Jati” he can support his family with at-least 15,000 per month in worst meaning education never goes in-vain, which we realize after condition. But life after master can land you at-least at better spending some time during our professional carrier. No doubt position than the graduation. This story implies not only for earning can compensate all the expenditure of our effort & time but engineering degree holders but for all graduating backgrounds. Just that should be Good Earning with the area of interest. think widely and compare the opportunity.

Let’s start with an example of two friends from same educational as If you need assistant you can contact the author for some guidelines well as financial background “TAHA & HETA”. Taha & Heta both did at [email protected] not find any placement from their campus and started their job search, although they are mechanical engineer. Taha found a job of Mechanical Engineer in a company with a salry of 20,000. Heta was not lucky enough to get the job. Both need money to support their family. Heta tried tried but unfortunately every time he visit the company he got the rejection on the account of experience, some time on the account of different tools used in the industry. Heta spent again some money to learn some software tools to groom his Mechanical Degree but failed.

Finally one day Heta while surfing internet found some scholarships website of DAAD & Erasmus, who used to sponsor students from developing country to do masters in some fields. Heta found some time they need GRE, GMAT & sometime IELTS exams to start the process. Heta decided to invest some initial amount to sit in the required exam IELTS for his area of interest while his thirst of job meaning search of job was going on parallel. At the end of four months he still did not find any job while Taha already saved some 50,000 during this time. But this time the opportunity knocked at the door of Heta and landed him in Erasmus Program to do his master in the area of Automobile. He happily left the country because the master program was fully funded. He just spended time to write some applications ans emails and yes he got the scholarship funded by the organization which by which he was getting around 1000 euro per month.

When Heta was on the way to Europe Taha met and told, “It’s time to earn why the hell you are going for the master when your family need the money and apart of that at the end of two year you will again face problems to start the carrier while at that time I will have some two year of experience”. He smilied and left.

He started getting 1000 euro per month in which he used to save 300 euro per month. During his study he got some opportunity to work with professor where he utilized his early learnt software tools and

… Continued from previous issue about situation in Mahshar.

The resurrection of the people to Mahshar will greatly vary depending on the Eman and Deeds. Some will come on foot, some will be riding, some will be happy and some will be sad. Some will be walking on mouth; some will be pushed by fire. Some will be sweating up to back and mouth. It will be a chaotic situation where none will ask others. Today man will come to know the reality of his single deed. Hence, he will be moving here and there to safeguard it so that no one from his near and dear can ask for it. Allah says in (Chapter: Abas, Verse 34-37),” On the day when a man will be away from his brother, his mother, his father, his wife and his children. Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others)”..

Allah Almighty also says,”And no familiar friend will ask a question of his friend though they will be given sight of them. The guilty man will long to be able to ransom himself from the punishment of that day at the price of his children, his spouse, his brother, and his kin that harboured him”. (Al-Maarij 10-13).

The period of Mahshar will be of 50 thousand years (Al-Maarij/4). The length of this day will be different depending on the group (Believers, Non-believers, Mushrik, Munafiq, Bid’ati, Bad performers of Muslim, etc), and the variation in long/short span of time is well-known according to the intensity of distress and peace.

A day with Allah is as a thousand years of what you count (Al-Hajj/47). Our Prophet (S) said that the poor Muslim will go to Heaven half day earlier from rich Muslim and the span of this half day is equivalent to five hundred years (Tirmezi). This Hadith explicitly describe about the awfulness of wealth for which the man is competing here each other. Those who don’t have money have no accountability about whether it was spent lavishly in lawful things, or spent in unlawful things or spent in fashion, or spent in legitimate things but to gain status in the society or spent niggardly, etc.

Our Prophet (S) used to pray: O’ Allah keep me alive a poor person, and give me death as a poor person, and gather me among the poor on the Day of Resurrection.(Tirmezi at the authority of Anas (R).

Allah Almighty will bake the earth as bread and the people of Paradise will be eating it till they are allowed to enter Heaven. It will be first hosting for the people of Heaven in Qiyamat. The curry for this bread will be fish, so big that a part of its liver alone will be enough for seventy thousand people (Muttafaq Alaih, narrated from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri (R).

The security for the women is a very sensitive issue in the post the most and very prior requirement of life that is security for the modern era. As per the data collected by the National Crime women.Records Bureau's publication “Crime in India 2009” shows that with 1,759 rape victims in 2009, UP had 0.9 rape victims per lakh This is a very common practice that we have the most valuable population. Compare that with the 1,631 victims in a much entity into the locker just because of the security reason as same smaller state like Assam, which means a rate of 5.3 rape victims as we try to safeguard the women in the society. The security of per lakh population, almost six times the rate in UP. the women can never be fully achieved with full freedom given to

the women but with some reasonable restrictions in the system. At the other end of the scale, the five worst were Assam, Madhya Educational backwardness among the women community is also Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi and West Bengal, in descending a very dangerous problem prevailing in the society. Cultural and order of the rate. Even the best among this lot, West Bengal had a social development of a child more over depends on the rate of 2.6 rape victims per lakh population that is about thrice as environment provided at home so it is very necessary to be bad as in UP. The five best States or Union Territories in 2009, educated for the head of the family at home that normally the among those with a population of 100 lakh or more, were Gujarat, mother.Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, UP and Bihar in that order, all of them having less than one rape victim per lakh population. There are two main problems that exist in the society; one is

women should be educated to provide the overall development As per the report of Times of India published on Jan 6, 2008 there for the new generation as we know that the best teacher of a has been a phenomenal eight-fold increase in the number of person is his/her mother, secondly another problem is the rapes committed in India since 1971, the year from which data for security of the women as we know that cases of the sexual rape cases has been collected by the National Crime Records harassment are increasing with very fast rate. Bureau (NCRB). This stands in marked contrast to other serious and violent crimes like murder, robbery, dacoity, kidnapping and So such a kind of system must be developed in the society that rioting. Overall, violent crimes under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) both the problems could be solved at the same time. To solve have actually declined. both the problems at the same government must open women

poly technique, women’s colleges, special schools for the girls so The issues of women are getting hype day by day. Social activist, that women could get proper education with proper security.especially the women rights activist raises the issues for the empowerment of the women and gender equality but they forget

Bilariyaganj: Breaking the stereotypes associated with madrassas, a 50-year-old Islamic seminary here teaches subjects like personality development and home science, runs an elaborate teacher training programme, has a higher girl enrolment ratio and has students who are no less active on social networking websites than their counterparts in the metros.

Welcome to Jamiatul Falah, a madrassa in Bilariyaganj town of Uttar Pradesh's Azamgarh's district that has kept pace with modern education. The 4,300 students who come here from across the country are taught subjects like personality development, economics, political science and home science -- subjects which are rarely taught in Islamic institutions.

Jamiatul Falah, which means University of Eternal Success, also started a mini Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and a public hospital earlier this year.

The institution now wants to start paramedical courses for students.

"Now the madrassa people across the country recognize that there is a need to train teachers because they play a key role in any educational system," Falah manager Mohammad Tahir Madani told reporters.

"The modern subjects are helpful to understand the religious commandments and create confidence among our students," he said.

"If our students don't know other languages, then they won't know other cultures. Nowadays, if they don't know English they may feel an inferiority complex," he explained.

More than 50 percent of the students in the institution in higher classes are comfortable with the Internet and most have a Facebook account. The Most Extraordinary League of Super Smart Phones is here

Addressing the students, he said that if anyone develops two traits, no one in this world can stop him from achieving his desire to reach the highest ranks, insha-Allah. First is punctuality, and second, passion backed by hard work. He said that all useless things that only waste our time, for example, playing cards or

chess, are prohibited (haram) in Islam. Such pastime easily deviates a person from his mission. Therefore, wasting time on video games, watching TV all the time, and too much indulgence in watching cricket matches, etc. lead to inefficient use of time resulting in loss of focus on the main objectives that one sets for one's life. All such activities will cause a loss of interest in studies and make it difficult to attain success. Therefore in acquiring knowledge, consistency and hard work are important. The chief guest of the gathering Jb. Prof Al Hajj Abd-Allah said, “Muslim children do not lack capabilities or intellect, they just need the right direction so that there is no obstruction in their education. RAHBAR Coaching has provided children with the right opportunity and they should take advantage of it.” In the end cash prizes were distributed to the deserving students. Corruption, loot everywherein Bihar: Dr. Ajay Kumar

Noted physician and president of the Indian Medical Association, Dr Ajay Kumar, presented a totally different picture of Bihar and made it loud and clear that for common men and women nothing had changed in the last six years, especially in the health sector. “Yes a few of us in the urban pockets may have been benefited, but the rest is just bogus media propaganda and statistical jugglery. You want to know how data about growth rate and others are compiled; come on I will teach you this art,” he thundered amidst applaud. He said hardly anything had been done in the health sector. Only the centrally–sponsored National Rural Health Mission funds worth hundreds of crores have been misused, squandered and looted from top to bottom. There is no mobile hospital anywhere in Bihar. Those running taxis had been given the contract of providing ambulance and generator in primary health centres. Huge racket is flourishing in the name of private sector participation in this sector. The scene is very dismal yet this government is busy sketching rosy picture about the state.Referring to the people living abroad he said that “they give fantastic mantras and ideas on Facebook and Twitter as if we are not aware of it. Go and see what is happening in rural Bihar.”Bureaucrats in Patna get news published that so many people are now turning up to primary health centres. The truth is that strongmen and their family-members in each villages are getting free medicines even if they are perfectly health. The rest remains deprived. “When such huge amount of medicines are coming from the Centre what else would be done,” he added. The former IMA chief said that while the number of medical cadres have declined from 15,000 to 3,500 in the last few years the state government instead of appointing fresh doctors are busy increasing the retirement age from 60 to 62 to 65 years. In the rural areas it is recruiting doctors on contracts. Is this the solution? There should be one medical college for every 50 lakh population. By that yardstick Bihar should have 20 medical colleges. But where are they?Donot talk about scarcity of doctor. There is no para-medical staff, no one to handle ECG. Recently it was announced that each district would have an ICU. The truth is that there is no hands to manage ICU in PMCH. All is being done to mint money. He said that no youth had been left in Bihar. All the able-bodied men have left the state. Those who have been left behind are either engage in looting MNREGA money or some other government schemes.Dr Ajay Kumar said that corruption is at its peak. No it is not from below, but from top. “Why the government is arresting lower division clerk or ASI, when all those on the top are neck deep in corruption,” he asked while concluding his speech with a couplet.Former Professor of Department of Physics, B N College, N N
