Outsourcing Your Facebook Campaign Management to the Philippines Tips & Guidelines

Introduction:

Cost-effective rate and English language proficiency are two main driving forces

behind the success story that is the Philippine BPO sector. There are three main driving forces as to why the Philippines is one of the top

countries for outsourcing your Facebook Campaign Management: cost-effective rates, English

Outsourced Facebook management and other social media-related projects from the United States,

Australia and United Kingdom are finding themselves in the hands of Filipino talents. A lot of consultancy firms from these countries discovered

a treasure trove in the Philippines and reaped a tremendous amount of benefits for their businesses

in the process – and so can your business.

Walk before you run… Its tempting to start outsourcing from

the get-go, but one of the MAJOR issues in hiring someone is that most people don’t have a proper system in place.

We made that mistake before…we went in thinking we’ll just get extra hands on deck and things would run smoothly. But that wasn’t the case.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Learn how to run Facebook ad campaigns. With courses like FB Ads Cracked

Reloaded, you will be able to figure this out in no time! 2. Test campaigns yourself 3. Make sure there’s positive ROI – Try a couple of campaigns yourself – at least.

Its always good to run some winning campaigns yourself for 2 reasons: 1) You can judge the outsourcer on how quickly they can run similar successful

campaigns, 2) You have an idea about what will work and what won’t and…ok…3) You will have some extra money to spend!

4. Once you know that the campaign is ready to be scaled up and it can be run

multiple times simply by changing a few variables, it’s time to find the right person to outsource it to.

Just follow these 4 simple steps quickly and you’ll be up and running in no time.

It sounds kind of scary to trust someone from another country to do your work.

You’re not alone - a lot of people have the same thoughts. But don’t forget that

hundreds of companies in the US, Europe and Australia are outsourcing – because they found qualified and trustworthy workers. And because of this, the huge cost savings and time freedom are making their lives and their businesses successful.

Just think about how easy it would be for you to enter new markets once you

already have an income stream coming in from a single source – making you recurring income every month!

Recruitment:

1. Determine the roles that you will be recruiting for – and how much are you willing to pay for each.

2. Make a very comprehensive job description – include all the skills and experience ideal for the position. Make it as detailed as possible so applicants

will have an idea of what they’re getting into and so you’ll know what you can expect from them.

Sample Job Description (the one we use):

OnlineJobs PH

Onlinejobs is my favourite – 75% of my employees have been sourced from that

site. Admittedly, it costs every month to have an account on that site – but it’s worth it. You can use programs like TimeDoctor (timedoctor.com) to track time, which means you don’t have to pay 10% fees charged by odesk and elance.

5. Shortlist applicants – Ask them to do a simple test just to have a feel of what

they’re capable at based on the skills and experience they presented. What I do is ask them 3 questions on FB and 2 on general IQ. I want the best of

both worlds – someone who already understands Facebook and someone who can grasp these concepts quickly. It’s a win-win.

6. Start interviewing – Based on test results, start interviewing the most qualified applicants. Tip: We do interviews on Skype and we usually keep an eye for

positive people with great attitude!

7. Hire the best person – Factors for choosing the best candidate for the job is a combination of test result, skills, experience, how the interview went and of

course, your gut instinct.

Work and Communication 1. Establish openness and accessibility. Tell them about yourself and encourage

them to ask questions. Set expectations and goals and inform them how and when you will communicate with one another.

2. Assign tasks to them

in writing via email or via a project management

system. If assigning tasks the first time,

we recommend that you use Powerpoint + video to provide

step by step instructions. This

way, you won’t have to repeat yourself and you can share

your videos with new team members

in the future.

3. Schedule daily meetings with them early into the shift

so you can go over their

accomplishments – what tasks they will be working on for

the day and any challenges they may be experiencing

4. Encourage them to write down their achievements on a daily basis. This will make it easier for them and for you to assess weekly and monthly activities.

5. It’s very important to always give positive reinforcements. If there are any issues, talk to them to see what the problem is instead of sending nasty

messages to them.

Now some tips on a plan for outsourcing Retargeting campaigns to your employees (something we often do, so am comfortable letting you in…feel free to use these

word by word – but don’t share with anyone else!):

RETARGETING

1. Creating 2 Custom Audiences for Sales page and thank you page a. Go to Mange Ads b. Click on Audiences c. Create a pixel under From Your Website d. Name the audience e. Up it to keeping it for 180 days

2. Install Custom Audience pixels in the header tag of leadpages or the HTML page you are using

a. The "salespage" one on the Sales Page i. Install a conversion pixel on the Thank you page to make sure you can

track conversions ii. You should start collecting the custom audiences even when you are

driving paid traffic b. Put a different Custom Audience on that Thank You page

i. This page will have 2 pixels, one for conversions and one for a custom audience (you put this on so you can also engage with the buyers)

3. Create 2 ad campaigns and 3 ads for each (6 total ads) a. 1 for the sales page

i. Have 3 ads for the sales page - a separate one for newsfeed, mobile newsfeed and for right hand side

ii. You will need 2 different sizes for newsfeed ads and right hand side ones and right hand side ones should not have as much stuff on there

iii. Exclude the Thank you page custom audience when running this ad so you only focus on the Main custom audience

b. 1 for the Thank you page i. Have 3 ads for the thank you page - a separate one for newsfeed, mobile

newsfeed and for right hand side ii. You will need 2 different sizes for newsfeed ads and right hand side

ones and right hand side ones should not have as much stuff on there 4. Change the ad copy to represent changes in situations (discounts etc.) At least

change this every 7 days or before if the CTR goes down. a. Create a story b. Emphasize the scarcity c. Emphasize discounts and offers
