BRO TIM KERWIN - 3RD DEGREE

Brother Tim Kerwin was raised to the 3rd De-

gree at Rongotea Lodge No. 146 on Wednesday

the 16th of May. Again there was strong support

with Railway Craftsmen from all around the

North Island in attendance. Brother Tim was

passed to the Second Degree in a railway work-

ing as part of the Railway Craftsmen Association

AGM in October 2011 - with the kind permis-

sion of WBro. John Downey, the Master of Ron-

gotea Lodge. Tim is a KiwiRail Locomotive Engi-

neer working out of Palmerson North.

Pictured above are the Railway Craftsmen who

attended the ceremony with Tim seated in the centre and his Master WBro. John Downey be-

hind him

On the left is VWBro. Phil Wagener addressing

Tim during the ceremony. VWBro. Wagener had

much to do with Tim’s advancement as both a

Locomotive Engineer (as his minder LE) and in

the craft. Rumour has it that much time was

spent in the loop learning the test questions!

Having such a good railway candidate is great for

the craft in general and this association in partic-

ular. Congratulations Tim!
