April is gone! What a

busy month. Our pace

here has quickened, your

Soldiers are putting in

extra hours and time is

really beginning to fly.

Not only has another

month flown by but the

temperature seems to

have risen by 30 de-

grees. It isn’t easy oper-

ating in the desert but

your Soldiers are per-

forming to high stan-

dards.

I would like to take a

moment to recognize

SGT Daniels for his out-

standing performance

during the NCO of the

Quarter board. He was

selected to represent the

Battalion at the NCO

COMMANDER’S CORNER

As we close out another month

in this deployment our Soldiers

continue to set the example for

the rest of Camp As Sayliyah.

This month our very own SGT

Daniels not only became the

Battalion NCO of The Quarter

but represented us during the

CAS NCO of the quarter. He

did so while still performing his

duties as a team leader for one of

the missions we are responsible

for here. SGT Daniels commit-

ment to his team and general

knowledge are commendable.

Long overdue promotions were

received by both now SPC Clark

and SPC Proctor. Congratulations to

both for their dedicated work that

allowed for these promotions. SSG

Jones, David also extended his

enlistment. As we gear closer to the

end of the deployment I want to take

the time to remind everyone of the

upcoming Yellow Ribbon Events

that are scheduled upon our return so

that you may start planning for that

time. This will be an important part

of the Soldiers and Families reinte-

gration back into the normal environ-

ment of home life. Once again if you

have not seen anything related to

your loved one on our Facebook

page please let us know.

Congratulations to SGT Daniels, for being selected as the

175th Military Police BN NCO of the Quarter.

Left Command Sergeant Major Stratton, the 175th MP BN Sergeant Major, congratulates SGT Daniels for

being selected as NCO of the Quarter. Earlier in the month SGT Daniels represented 3rd Platoon for the

2175th MP CO NCO of the quarter. SGT Daniels spent countless hours refreshing in areas of Military His-

tory, Drill and Ceremony, First Aid, Uniforms, Weapons, Land Navigation, Army Programs, Army Leader-

ship, Physical Training, etc to name a few. SGT Daniels not only won the Company and BN NCO of the quar-

ter but represented the 175th MP BN for the Camp As Sayliyah NCO of the quarter. This is no small feat as

he did so why still maintaining his current mission requirements as a MP Team Leader. SGT Daniels embod-

ies the Be, Know, Do character of an NCO. He r definitely displayed the beginning of the Noncommissioned

Officer Creed, “No one is more professional than I, I am a Noncommissioned Officer, a leader of Soldiers!” .

Congratulations on a job well done!!!
