Thank you to Cindy for her visits
and for the beautiful purple prayer
shawl.
Many of you already know I am
moving to Papillion. Not my wishes
but the girls (my daughters) just
worry about me living alone; espe-
cially at night.
I will miss my early Sunday morn-
ing visit with Jean Graham; my vis-
its with Cindy Jones. Then there is
Marian Turner; my help, my person-
al shopper and just being my friend!
Then there is the Christian Builders
Class which is down to about 9
women and 2 men. It will always
be in my prayers.
Grace Church has been my life
most of my adult life. To the rest of
the church I send my blessings.
My address after June 1st is
522 W. Lincoln, Papillion, NE
68046-7015.
Peace and blessings to you all.
Beth Lahr
Thank you so much for everything
these past 3 years. Thank you for
helping me feel at home and provid-
ing a place for me to grow in my
faith. I really, really miss the com-
munity support and love.
God bless, McKenzie Wedel

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in
the United States for remembering the
people who died while serving in the
country's armed forces. The holiday,
which is observed every year on the
last Monday of May, originated as
Decoration Day after the American
Civil War in 1868, when the Grand Army of the
Republic, an organization of Union veterans found-
ed in Decatur, Illinois, established it as a time for
the nation to decorate the graves of the war dead
with flowers. In honor of this holiday, the office at
GUMC will be closed.
