“I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another."
(John 13:34) It is easy to love someone when they love you back. But it takes strength and courage to love someone when we feel unappreciated, used or
feel our opinion doesn’t matter. It takes courage to “love my neighbor” when he may be someone
I don’t like, someone I don’t know or someone that doesn’t look like me.

STEWARDSHIP OF TIME
> Online Giving < Online Giving is a simple and secure method of fulfilling your stewardship even when you cannot attend Mass. Your contribution is debited automatically from your checking, savings, or credit card account on a monthly basis on the date you choose.
*Giving electronically helps the church save money on printing and processing of envelopes.
**It also saves you from writing checks or having cash available for envelopes. Go to our website at ololma.org and click on “OnlineGiving.” Click on which offertory you would like to make a donation to. Then click on “one time donation” or “recurring donation.” If you will be doing a “recurring donation”, it will have you set-up an account with a user and password so you can always go back and make changes.
If you have any questions, we are here to help you. If you don’t feel comfortable setting it up, please make an appointment with Fr. Brian or Cheryl and we can assist you.
The parish financial stability relies on YOU!
Partners in Charity As of May 14, our 2019 Partners in Charity Appeal has already received $33,960 of our parish goal of $47,500. That is 71% of our goal. If you have not yet made your pledge, please prayerfully make your pledge and return it to the church office or in the collection basket. You can also make your donation online at www.partners-charity.net. Thank you!

Maryknoll Lay Missioners...Claire Stewart will
speak at all the masses at Our Lady of Lourdes

Baby Bottle Drive - “It’s a boy!” “It’s a girl!”
These two signs are hung with great frequency
on the front porch of Visitation House. These
signs tell the world that our belief in the
sacredness of life has real world meaning.
These signs also provide each of us with an
opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to the
sacredness of life. Once again, Our Lady of Lourdes
will participate in the annual Baby Bottle Drive. The
drive began on the Mother’s Day weekend . Baby
bottles may be found in bins at the three entrances to
this church.
Summer Giving - The parish of Our Lady of
Lourdes counts on your regular offertory contributions
throughout the summer to pay for our continuing
operating expenses. As you enjoy vacations away
from home, please do not forget your generous support
of your church. Together we can keep our parish
fiscally strong. Thank you!

GATHERING HYMN We Gather Together
Fifth Sunday of Easter Cycle C
LITURGY OF THE WORD FIRST READING ACTS 14:21-27
After Paul and Barnabas had proclaimed the good news to that city and made a considerable number of disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch. They strengthened the spirits of the disciples and exhorted them to persevere in the faith, saying, "It is necessary for us to undergo many hardships to enter the kingdom of God." They appointed elders for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, commended them to the Lord in whom they had put their faith. Then they traveled through Pisidia and reached Pamphylia. After proclaiming the word at Perga they went down to Attalia. From there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work they had now accomplished. And when they arrived, they called the church together and reported what God had done with them and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM PSALM 145
SECOND READING REV 21:1-5A
Then I, John, saw a new heaven and a new earth. The former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I also saw the holy city, a new Jerusalem, com-
ing down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, God's dwelling is with the human race. He will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will always be with them as their
God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain, for the old order has passed away."
The One who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new."
GOSPEL JN 13:31-33A, 34-35
When Judas had left them, Jesus said, "Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and God will glorify him at once. My children, I will be with you only a little while longer. I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
NICENE CREED
I believe in one God, the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth, of all things
visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only
Begotten Son of God, born of the Father be-
fore all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made,
consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit
was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and be-came man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the
right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the
giver of life who proceeds from the Father
and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic
Church. I confess one baptism for the for-giveness of sins and I look forward to the res-
urrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.
