Monday’s teaser: I run over fields and woods all day. Under the bed at night I sit not alone. My tongue hangs out, up and to the rear, awaiting to be filled in the morning. What am I?Answer: A shoe. Today’s teaser: A man is trapped in a room. In the room there is a table, a chair, two doors, and a small hole in the ceiling 10 inches in diameter. Behind one of the doors is an extremely hungry lion that hasn’t eaten in a couple of days. Behind the other door is a glass tunnel that magnifies the sun, creating temperatures so high that even opening the door could kill you. How does the man escape?

Letter to the BuzzSt. Marie Happenings WHAT NOW, WHAT NEXT- Positive or Negative for St Marie property owners? Here’s a combination of FACTS and a CONSENSUS of OPINION....... 1. Is the upcoming St Marie Development Bankruptcy hearing in Billings Federal Courthouse a good thing? Most folks tell me yes, it will clear the deck on many properties. 2. Is there a secondary reason why folks think so? Yes, because some individuals are being looked at closely by the IRS, Securities Fraud Folks, Montana Dept of Revenue, and others. 3. There exists no big demand for St Marie Housing, true? Most in the know think this so. 4. Is all the paperwork being written and filed down at the County Courthouse reasonable, meaningful, and legally valid? Many think it’s nonsensical gibberish and not based on the laws on the books, just bogus legal filings. 5. Is it the real intent of some to fix and sell property in St Marie or is there a hidden agenda? Most are of the opinion that some folks have a scheme to get something for nothing. 6. Is there a hidden agenda to take power, bill, fine, lien, and foreclose on St Marie property owners? Maybe, it’s been done many times in the past by some still residing in St Marie. We’ll have to see what transpires.....The Truth Always Prevails! ~ Nick Chiechi

Emilee Morehouse, 2009 Glasgow High School graduate who went on to have a stellar track & field college career at University of Mary, hasn’t given up any of her competitive edge. This past Sunday (Mother’s Day) Emilee participated in the Fargo (North Dakota) Half Marathon. There were a total of 5,205 runners — 1870 men, 3305 women — in the race and Emilee crossed the finish line in an outstanding 8th place for the females. Her time on the 13.1-mile course was 1:25.05 (85 minutes, five seconds) which converts to a pace of 6:30 per mile. Below is Emilee with her former University of Mary friend and former college teammate, Kristen Beckley of Sykestn, North Dakota.

The Montana Catfish Association kicked off the first of four tournaments this past weekend with the Yellowstone Challenge in Huntley. With the mighty Yellowstone fluctuating over 10,000 CFS the week leading up to the Challenge and dropping steadily throughout competition day, the difficulty level was ramped up significantly. Couple that with 40 degree ambient temp, 30 MPH wind gusts and 53 degree water and that’s just downright cruel. These nasty ingredients threw a wrench in a lot of pre-tournament planning, however, the full 50 team field proved once again why Catfishermen are the toughest breed out there. Braving the difficult circumstances, an impressive 44 teams weighed fish totaling over 630 pounds. Despite the extreme conditions and tough bite, there was no cooling down the local duo of Bobby & Robert Wise. The father/son combo pulled away from the full 50 team field with a four fish, 25.4 lb basket and claimed their first Yellowstone Challenge crown. Bobby and Robert picked up where they left off last year, ending the 2013 season with a Monster Cat Roundup Championship in Sidney and a 3rd place finish at Williston, ND in the Missouri River Catfish Clash. The Wise crew finished third in the Montana Catfish Association Angler of the Year standings last year as a result of their scorching end of the year finish and shows no signs of slowing down in 2014. Tournament veteran Larry Green, coupled with new partner Kevin Massick, once again milked his honey hole for all it’s worth and claimed runner-up honors. Scott Swanson and Jeremiah Johnson claimed third place plaques with an impressive basket of 23.43 lbs. Past Monster Cat Roundup Champs Justin King and Glasgow native Jer Hopstad got back to their winning ways, finishing 4th with 21.89 lbs. Kevin Howie and Travis Kennedy of Billings rounded out the top 5 with 21.79 lbs. Chad Mueller and Kyle Mueller captured sixth

place, highlighted by the MONSTER CATFISH of the day, with a 11.64 lb beauty. That trophy fish was good enough to claim the Whisker Seeker Big Fish Award. The inclement weather couldn’t put a damper on another extremely successful Yellowstone Challenge. Next up on the Montana Cats circuit is the 15th Annual Milk River Catifsh classic on June 7th with a full field of 80 teams. Montana Cats would like to encourage all interested anglers to check out the Monster Cat Roundup in Sidney and the Missouri River Catfish Clash in Williston, ND, as they still have openings. We are once again offering an angler of the year race, which calculates the top 3 of 4 scores from the Montana Cats circuit. B’N’M Rods has stepped up to offer $100 gift certificate for each tourney champion and $250 CASH for the Montana Cats angler of the year. If you are using B’N’M rods you will win $500, so make sure to swoop up some new B’N’M rods.
