1 Fill the fuel tank and turn on your diesel generator (if you use the mains electricity network, go directly to step 2.

2 Connect a current stabiliser to the 120/230 V (alternating current) electrical power socket and switch it on.

3 Connect the control box to the Maxi-WATA by connecting the cables with the red sticker to the socket which is also marked with a red sticker.

4 Connect the control box to the power supply, also maintaining the connection between cables marked red stickers.

5 Connect the power supply to the stabiliser and turn the green power switch to on. The timer automatically starts when the control box is turned on. The LED light is green.

6 Production will automatically stop after 4 hours when the concentration (6 g/L) ha been reached for 15 litres of sodium hypochlorite solution.

7 At the end of the process, turn the green power switch to off. Disconnect the power supply from the stabiliser.

8 Remove the Maxi-WATA from the bath then disconnect the 2 Maxi-WATA cables. Turn the stabiliser's switch to off.

9 Unplug the stabiliser from the wall socket. Rinse the Maxi-WATA with clean water. The push button on the box can be used to reset the timer, if necessary.

4. MAXI-WATA MAINTENANCEAfter each use, rinse the appliance by immersing it in a bucket of clear water. Dry and store in a secure, dry place, protected by a clean cloth. Never rub the titanium plates.

6 Place a filter (e.g. a coffee filter or clean, tightly woven cloth) over the container and add the 10 litres containing the pre-dissolved salt. Mix well.

7 Immerse the body of the Maxi-WATA in the salt water: the handle must stay out of the water but the body of the device must be completely submerged

3.3 INSTALLING AND CONNECTING THE MAXI-WATA

W It is advisable to use a stabiliser between the power source and the 24 V/40 A power source. Have the electrical system stability inspected by a specialist.

W If using a diesel generator (or generator unit), the recommended minimum power is 3 kW/kVA.

W The power source and the control box must be as far as possible from the production container to avoid the highly corrosive chlorine vapour. They must not be placed on the ground. Ideally, they should be placed in a room other than the chlorine production room.
