His broad experience in the United States Air Force began with Navigator training in the 562nd Flying Training Squadron. He then moved on to serve as a Force Support Officer in the 50th Force Support Squadron in Ellsworth AFB where he directed a Military Personal Section and implemented new technologies to streamline processes that improved customer relations. !Captain Villasuso's tireless efforts, professionalism, and exemplary courage contributed to the success of the mission to develop the Afghanistan National Police at a Regional Training Center and provide a stable future for the people of Afghanistan. In Ali Al Salem, he served has a Flight Commander in the 386th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron where he directed over 150 personnel, over $20 million in lodging facilities and learned the fundamentals of facility management.
