Mission

As a Financial Advisor focusing on financial planning, I go far beyond

providing investment advice. The right investments matter, yes. But a great

investment program does not come solely from knowing investments; it

comes from knowing you. So we will have conversations you might not

expect from a Financial Advisor, having less to do with the arcane details of

asset allocation strategy, and more to do with the details of your life. Only

then can I help develop the wealth management strategies aimed at helping

you grow and preserve your wealth.

Vision

I seek to strengthen each client relationship over the long term by attaining a

deep understanding of what matters most to them. I continuously strive to

meet, and hopefully exceed, my clients’ expectations while working to make

a meaningful difference in their lives. My consultative approach has

positioned me as a dedicated partner and primary advisor who delivers

sound financial advice that my clients deserve. My clients, in turn, have

entrusted me with long-lasting relationships.

Matthew F. Hersch Financial Advisor

Matthew is a Second Vice President and Financial Advisor with Morgan

Stanley. Prior to joining the firm, Matthew was a student at Western

Washington University, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in

Finance.

As a Financial Planning Specialist, Matthew takes a comprehensive

approach to wealth management, helping provide his clients with tailored

strategies to their specific needs. Given this landscape is ever changing, he

continuously seeks additional training to deepen his knowledge and build

upon his existing skill sets.

Matthew also strives to provide his clients with an excellent experience

and a high level of communication. As such, he has been recognized by

Morgan Stanley as a 2011 Pacesetter Club Member and by Seattle

Magazine as a 2010 , 2011 FIVE STAR: Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth

Manager.*

Matthew is a native to Western Washington and now resides in Seattle.

He understands that with the unpredictability of our weather, one must

have a range of activities for those hours away from work. For the rainy

days, it is off to the slopes and on those days without rain, you might find

him attempting a round of golf or cycling through Seattle.

*Five Star Professional, as a third-party research firm, administers a survey, by mail and phone, to 1 in 4 high-net-worth households and registered financial services representatives to evaluate the wealth

managers in a metropolitan area. The evaluation is based on nine criteria, including customer service, integrity, knowledge/expertise, communication, value for fee charged, meeting of financial objectives, post-sale

service, quality of recommendations, and overall satisfaction. After review by a panel of local industry experts and a review of regulatory history, Five Star Professional determines the final list of Five Star Wealth

Managers scoring highest in overall satisfaction and representing less than 7% of the wealth managers in the metropolitan area.

Five Star Wealth Managers do not pay a fee to be included in the research or the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers.

Only wealth managers with more than five years of experience in the financial services industry are considered.
