In the beginning….

This is a strange story about a little girl ”Matilda”…

Matilda, a brilliant, sensitive little girl, uses her talents and ingenuity to seek revenge on her crooked father, lazy mother, and the terrifying Miss Trunchbull, her wicked headmistress, and save her beloved teacher, Miss Honey.

Most of parents always think their own child is wonderful, even when he or she is the most disgusting little blister. Occasionally one comes across parents who show no interest at all in their children. Mr. and Mrs. Wormwood were two such parents.

Matilda self-taught herself

Matilda’s parents treat the “extra-ordinary” little girl was a scab.By the age of one and a half, her speech was perfect and knew as many words as most grown-ups.When she was 3, she taught herself to read by studying newspapers and magazines.

Noisy chatterbox!

The only book in the whole of enlightened household was “Easy cooking” belonging to her mother.
