Math Estimate and use proper tools to measure length and height using different metric units. Use and solve problems with bar graphs, picture graphs and line plots. Recognize and describe polygons, and partition rectangles into equal parts. Addition and Subtraction Skip Counting Writing - Opinions Students will write opinion paragraphs by introducing the opinion in the topic sentence, providing reasons that support the opinion, and closing paragraphs with a concluding statement. Language Students will identify and correctly use parts of speech (including nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs). Reading Students will use reading skills and strategies to comprehend grade-level literature and informational text.
