Overview: Welcome to Distance Learning Math 081! This course is web based and requires the use of a computer with a high-speed Internet connection. It is a self-study program with the course content being delivered through the use of online homework assignments, instructional videos and quizzes. There are two times in the quarter when students must be physically present on the North Seattle College campus for the “paper and pencil” exams required for the course. These exams are mandatory and are as follows: Wednesday, February 15, and Tuesday, March 21. You may take the exam anytime beginning at 4:30pm, but you must complete the exam by 6:30pm on the day of the test. The exams will be held in room CC3349. Other than these two dates, students work off campus at the convenience of their own computer. Schedule: This course begins on Tuesday, January 3 and ends on Tuesday, March 21.
