Reduce the uncertainty and risk surrounding your HF Acid Alkylation process by consulting E²G’s leading expert on HF Alkylation: Brian Jack. E²G performs rigorous hot tap thermal analyses to help optimize welding parameters to minimize the potential risk of burnthrough and weld cracking. If a weld pool cools too quickly during in-service welding, the microstructure in the heat-affected zone (HAZ) may become brittle, resulting in onstream cracking. E²G can help determine the risk of a proposed hot tap before an arc is struck.

Setting Integrity Operating Windows (IOWs) for equipment is an important component of a successful mechanical integrity program. Our engineers develop customized limits, or “windows” of operation, for each process unit to minimize the likelihood of damage.
